I'm not sure what the second part of Mystique's trait does. Any help?
SHE WALKS AMONG US: Mystique can use Shape Change. When it's not your turn, lines of fire drawn to Mystique are blocked if she's adjacent to an opposing character.

Is it your turn? If "no" go on to the next question.
Is your Mystique adjacent to an opposing character? If "yes" go on to the next question.
Is your opponent trying to draw LOF to Mystique for some reason? If "yes" then that LOF is blocked.
Does that help? Basically, it keeps her safe from ranged attacks and Outwit and such if she fighting in close combat.
"How does [insert special power] work with the new 2013 rules?"
Most everything special power-wise, we're looking into. The PAC changes may change the way some special powers function; we're checking on them before the June release. In the meantime, ask your judge.
Does it also mean that if she is in base contact with an opposing character with the Sharpshooter ability, that they would not be able to use it against her?

If whatever they are using requires LOF, then you would be correct.

Pulse Wave still works. When drawing LOF for Pulse Wave it is only blocked by walls, blocking, and elevated terrain. Her trait is none of those.
Not to mention that Pulse Wave would ignore the trait anyway, simply due to its nature.
Who hath been worthy of mighty Mjolnir?
Rookie Jade, Veteran Hawk, Crisis Nightwing, The Wizard Shazam!, Howard the Duck (twice in one tourney), #040 Captain America, Lockheed, Dr. Donald Blake, Chase Odin, Thor and Loki, DC10 Wally West Flash, Frog of Thunder (twice in one tourney)

No it wouldn't. If it can't draw a LOF in the first place, then it can't ignore the trait. This really applies to Susan Richards/Invisible Woman's Invisible.
It would also prevent your own friendly figures from drawing line of fire to her on your opponents turn if she's adjacent to an opposing character, correct?

That is correct. It goes both ways. And since it is a trait, it cannot be canceled.

I see the distinction. I'm just not used to breaking it down that way, but you are right again. When will I stop questioning Questions?
