Updated with the latest release dates and products. I also did some cleanup, removed the now clearly non-existent LotR campaign box (sniff), and moved Iron Maiden Clix to 2012. (Again, it is still in the works, Iron Maiden fans!)

with GG being pushed back to April, it only seems inevitable Mighty Avengers gets pushed back to July i hope. June is way too close to April, especially with how big a set GG is going to be.

It will be rules-wise completely compatible. While it hasn't been made clear yet, I suspect that this will be the first HeroClix set that won't be Golden Age. So...

In home games: whatever floats your boat!
At your venue: Ask your venue!
At WK sponsored Modern/Golden age tournaments: Almost certainly not (but expect them to have Star Trek-themed tournaments at their next few convention appearances to make up for it).

Just as an FYI for everyone watching these threads, my home computer network has been smacked by a virus (freaking morons who program these things should be hung by their fingernails while being made to listen to Tiny Tim songs).
