I'm thinking that Galactus or some other colossal will show up and I want to make sure I can get through their defense.



So what I am trying to figure out is who is the best psychic blaster in the game?
If you include a list of candidates, it would be nice if you list some that have tk and are a flier too.

Unique Dr. Manhattan (005). PB and TK, in addition to Phasing/Teleport, PC and Impervious, and Super Senses.

Anything lower by 200 points?

green lantern (alan scott), archangel, victor mancha and skull buster all come to mind and range from 145 points to 84

HoT Moonstone is 76 points and comes with Running Shot, Psy Blast, ESD, and Shape Change. Give her a whirl.

Alternately, to fit the build you already have assembled, Classics Nick Fury is exactly 63 points. He's an excellent Psy Blaster with the SHIELD TA, although he doesn't have flight or TK.

i'm pretty sure Galactus ignores PB. Moonstone and Annihilus are my favs though.

long range, Psy Blast for 4 damage with 10 attack that turns mid-dial to a 12 attack pulse wave, regeneration that can bring him back on his first clic, and all that for less than 130 pts.

For colossals, want you want is a THUNDERER OF QWARD!

Hands down, the new Prof. X. Couple him with cheap enhancement (Researchers) and perplex, ANYONE on your team with common keyword can Psychic Blast with a 13 attack, 5 damage, 8 range (or more...SHIELD, perplex). Add Elite Sniper for 20 points and anyone can be a Stealth-ignoring Sharpshooter during said attack!

For cheaper points, Karnilla is amazing, as is Moonstone

the SR Archangel, hands down.


RIIIIIIIDICULOUS for 99 points

12AV, 4 damage, penetrating. Since it's not PB, Galactus and his ilk are not immune. Also his stealth should keep him (relatively) safe against most Colossals.

Just make sure you include TK.

Doesn't Galactus ignore Stealth?

CoG does, OSG does not. It's just about the only thing that's better about CoG Galactus. In his case the TK is just that much more important, SS is blocking terrain. Upshot is it's a much easier match for the rest of the team.

For your team, I like Thunderer of Qward.

As far as best PB in Modern? I like AN Sinestro. Perplex down and then shoot them dead.

Best in modern point for point is probably Annihilus. If you can make the keywords work, though, the new professor X is pretty ridiculous.
