Was so excited to log on tonight and play, but the lag was horrible. Any suggestions or settings adjustments I can make to reduce this? I'm DYING to play and be able to give my 2 cents.
I don't even want a 3-d map, it's far too hard to use the camera anyway.
I think that the developers should look at some online chess games, and keep that in mind for Heroclix.
I like the representations of the game pieces, but the maps are just too busy!!!

I think the detail is fine, but IF it is the true reason for the lag, then sacrificing some of it would be well worth it. I like the detail, but the game needs to play smoothly and until it does, the detail is secondary.
I'm in the other group. I feel that there is very little detail in the game. From a standing-still picture viewpoint it looks alright, but once a move is enabled it looks terrible. Figures gliding over the squares? Where's the running, flying and teleporting?
Figures have bases? Why?
When my thorbuster uses pulse wave, where is my wave of radiation which annihilates the other figures?
They need a lot more from a graphics standpoint if they want to target a market other than current heroclix players
From someone who has played online games competitively; I would like the option to turn all details and animations down to 0 to increase the FPS (Frames Per Second).

I agree. I don't have a great computer but it should be able to run a turn-based strategy game with no AI. I was really hoping this would be a graphically-light game, perhaps with detailed options. Anyone looking for a fully-rendered gaming environment for superheroes is probably already playing DCUO

Faster play is much more of a draw than a "collector box".
I agree. The graphics should be optional. I recall playing Battle Chess years ago and you had options to how much graphics and animation you wanted to occur. I can understand the game being more attractive to the general public. I felt that way with Battlechess also but after several games the animation becomes kinda of annoying.
