I decided to build a team based off of the "First Class" of X-Men but using later versions for the most part.

GX Cyclops
- Contingency Plan
MU Marvel Girl
GX Beast
- Lunge
GX Iceman
- Lunge
GX Archangel LE

Comes to 595pts so I was going to throw the Yellow Lantern object on since the Prof and Cyc both have P/PB.

So what do you think?

First off, I love the idea. I have kicked this one around quite a bit myself so take what I say next with a grain of salt...

You are going to get OWNED if you are going up against a Brotherhood team, as your opponent will have enough points to run Mags, Juggernaut and Sabretooth and still have 125 points for support. The Iceman and Marvel Girl pieces just aren't strong enough.

That being said, there is an alternative - add some other characters to help out, but you have to go beyond the FC group. Or go with what I suggested below, assuming you can run GA by the title of your post:

V Iceman 47 pts - Not So Special 3 pts.
Scott & Jean duo - 133 pts.

The duo should be parked next to X to make him the biggest threat possible, Iceman should be Cyke's battery, Beast and Archangel are your tie downs until Warren goes HSS. You will have to drop the other feats but you would still have 3 points left over for another option somewhere. If you have it, the Yellow Lantern might not be a bad idea since your top 3 figs all have P/PB. I think this would still be thematic and quite fun but the most competitive the FC can get at this point level.
