Need to clarify 2 things before i make a new team to play with

- Can I borrow HSS with Animal man and use it with his BCFs?

- Can I maka a animal keyword team with noh var and then use his power to gain the bonus attack benefit and still have a keyword team?

yes to number one, he can use BCF while using HSS. BCF activates on a close combat attack, which can be made during HSS.

The second one is a no...Theme team is checked ONLY at the beginning of the game, so if you opt to lose his keywords for the attack bonus, then you lose your theme at the same time.

You can borrow Hypersonic speed, but blades/claws/fangs doesn't work with it.
Hypersonic speed lets you make a close combat attack. Blades/Claws/Fangs requires the character be given a close combat action.

-If you use Noh-Varr's trait to lose all keywords as you reveal your force, then he won't have the keyword at the beginning of the game, so no themed team bonus.

Actually, you can't use HSS and BFC together, unless it is stated otherwise for a special ability, i.e., the ability: "RAZOR WINGS" for GSX LE Archangel.

WL Sinestro, WL Hal Jordan, and BD Deadman. Leaves 9 points for the White Lantern ATA or a Lantern.

I have used this team several times and it has always worked well for me.

Do you have the Frog of Thunder? Because I have a killer 400 point Animal theme team using my favorite piece. Give me another 100 points to play with and I could probably make it just that much better.
