Inspired by the recent ongoing Vengeance of Bane 2011 World Tour, here's my entry into the mix: Hammer of Thor's Daredevil!
Why this piece? Daredevil's a much-liked character of mine from the comics, and I've seen a LOT of folks trash talking this particular piece on here. So here we go!
Today's lineup: 300 points of Marvel Knights
Daredevil 81
Elektra 80
Tandy Bowen 55
Tyrone Johnson 55
Felicia Hardy 29
The map chosen was the junkyard; I was facing down a Teen Titans theme of Veteran Hawk, Impulse, Liberty Bell, Starfire, and Ms. Martian.
Most of the game saw Cloak chasing Impulse around from time to time, offering up the choice of Poison or pushing. Elektra and Tandy were the main attackers, with Daredevil serving as a passive control threat with his short range Incapacitate and Leap/Climb. It didn't hurt that I made all 5 Super Senses rolls while the other player had some lousy dice action while he tried to take out Cloak and Black Cat.
ENDING TALLY Game 1:
No Marvel Knights defeated.
Daredevil KOs: Veteran Hawk (Hypertime)
EDIT: You'll see a lot of folks mentioning the write ups in their replies. As I note in post 20 on this thread, I've gone back and nixed the "fan fic" style write ups in question here in the interests of not getting a potential copyright slam from anyone. I'm sorry about that, but it's what I feel I should do.

Two games happened tonight. They were 200 points each, with both games being set on a half-map of a folded Fountain of Asgard (folded down the middle, so that half the Bifrost was visible). The other player started at the Bifrost side, in the water; I started on the other end. . . .
200 Marvel Knights
Daredevil 81
Elektra 80
Black Cat (E) 32
Ben Urich 4
Foggy Nelson 3
The first match didn't go as well as I'd hoped. My friend was running a 200 point Outlaws build of Web of Spider-Man's red/blue Spidey, Puma, and Rocket Racer, and that Spidey proved to be a Super Senses MACHINE tonight. Elektra softened Rocket Racer and Spidey up in an initial offensive rush; Foggy and Ben fell, stumbling into position as meat shields before the opposing heroes. Murdock dropped Parker in the long run after Elektra injured Rocket Racer, but Puma was able to finish off the injured Greek assassin and the American lawyer.
ENDING TALLY, Game 2:
All characters defeated.
Daredevil KOs: Web of Spider-Man's red/blue Spider-Man
Total Daredevil KOs so far: 2 in 2 games
Win/loss record: 1-1
200 Marvel Knights
Daredevil 81
Elektra 80
Marc Spector (LE) 35
Ben Urich 4
The second game of the night was against a 200 point build the creator dubs "The Flying Grayson." It's Crisis Robin (35 points), Nightwing (79 points), and the Richard Grayson Batman (77 points) with Alias soaking up points on all 3.
Marc Spector fell hard and fast as he and Elektra tried to tangle with Batman. Elektra finished off the Bat and Robin, leaving her and Murdock to face Nightwing. By this point, she injured Nightwing, who promptly retaliated with vengeance, taking the assassin out of the picture and leaving a damaged Daredevil to be the one to pin him down with ranged attacks from atop one of the two elevated sections.
ENDING TALLY, Game 3:
Elektra, Marc Spector, and Ben Urich defeated.
Daredevil KOs: Crisis Nightwing
Total Daredevil KOs so far: 3 in 3 games
Win/loss record: 2-1

This first matchup was set at the new Ferris Air map; the opposition included Out of the Shadows Batman, Zauriel, and DC One Million Flash. It was, sadly, a resounding loss; while I played my team as it should've been played, the dice were not with me. Daredevil earned no KOs, and I simply couldn't land any attacks or Super Senses rolls before things went downhill.
ENDING Tally, Game 4
All Marvel Knights defeated
Daredevil KOs: None
Total Daredevil KOs so far: 3 in 4 games
Win/Loss record: 2-2
Game 2 went MUCH better! My friend ran a Suicide Squad consisting of Bronze Tiger, Count Vertigo, Amanda Waller, and 2 Multiplexes, with Alias, Contingency Plan, and Coordination on the Wall and Stunning Blow on Count Vertigo. Stealth was a deciding factor here. Daredevil, Moon Knight, and Elektra stayed in hindering for the early turns, with Spider-Man and Daredevil taking up residence on objects placed atop the ladders on the elevated building. Moon Knight and Elektra were in the middle of the map, hopping from rickshaws to objects. Meanwhile, Bronze Tiger led the Squad's charge, coming around the edge of the map. He was fast gang-banged, being pinned in an alley by Moon Knight, Daredevil, and Spider-Man while Elektra joined her teammates from the safety of elevated. Moon Knight fell while Vertigo, Waller, and the Multiplexes took up residence in the clearing next to the inside edge of the elevated section. Elektra launched an assault from the rooftop on the Multiplexes, staying in Stealth, while Daredevil took off toward the hindering chunk near the boat. Spidey went in to the rear with Leap/Climb. The Squad quickly repositioned near the side gangplank on the boat; an injured Spidey joined Daredevil and the by-then-relocated Elektra. Spidey dropped soon after, leaving Elektra to start taking some attacks from the Wall. It ended with Daredevil finishing off the last of the Squad solo.
ENDING Tally, Game 5
Spider-Man, Elektra, and Marc Spector defeated
Daredevil KOs: Bronze Tiger, Amanda Waller, and Count Vertigo
Total Daredevil KOs so far: 6 in 5 games
Win/Loss record: 3-2

300 Marvel Knights
Power Man 109 (Vet)
Daredevil 81 + Stunning Blow 10
Iron Fist 71 (Vet)
Felicia Hardy 29 (LE)
Game 1 of the day was 300 points; it saw the Artemis Wonder Woman, Irene Adler, experienced Jade, rookie Tessa, and rookie Psylocke (purple suit) waging war against the Marvel Knights in the Grid Reality Santa's Workshop map. This variant on the Green Lantern tank build did its work nicely; after a hard assault, I managed to take down Artemis with Daredevil, but that was IT.
ENDING TALLY, Game 6
All Marvel Knights defeated
Daredevil KOs: Wonder Woman (Artemis)
Total Daredevil KOs so far: 7 in 6 games
Win/Loss record: 3-3
300 Martial Artists
Daredevil 81
Elektra 80
Captain America 72 (Smoky Feet)
Patch 64 (Vet) + Not So Special 3
Again, game 2 seems to be where I hit my stride, or maybe it's just the person I'm playing against. Game 1 was against my girlfriend; game 2 was against a good buddy I usually go about 50/50 with, the guy who ran Suicide Squad the other day. It was still on the Santa's Workshop map.
My friend was running a Runaways theme of Molly Hayes with Protected, Nico Minoru with Alias, Gertrude Yorkes and Old Lace, and Victor Mancha, with the Runaways ATA on all figures. Captain America was the only one to fall from my side of the field, having been brutalized by Molly Hayes (which I'm told is comic accurate); Patch Regenerated about 8 or 9 clicks of damage and, with Elektra, dealt out a good share of the pain. Daredevil was able to KO Molly Hayes; he beaned her a couple of times with some Incapacitate hits to push her, and then he went for a KO with double-Perplexed swings thanks to Elektra and Patch. The highlight of the game was Elektra ending up on a Flurry/Blades/Perplex click and ripping through Runaways. A win for me!
ENDING TALLY, Game 7
Captain America defeated
Daredevil KOs: Molly Hayes
Total Daredevil KOs so far: 8 in 7 games
Win/Loss record: 4-3
400 Marvel Knights
Power Man and Iron Fist 136
Spider-Man 104 (Vet)
Daredevil 81 + Stunning Blow 10
Dagger 69 (Vet)
Special objects: Bookcase, Dumpster, and Meteorite
Game 3 was a 6-person free for all on the same Santa's Workshop! The other teams included the following:
Up near the packaging tables, in the corner, was my girlfriend; she ran Vet Ultimates Captain America, Dawnstar, the LE Captain Marvel (Mary Marvel) from Collateral Damage, and Web of Spider-Man's Black Cat.
To her right in the open air by the stables were the Runaways again, starring Victor Mancha, Chase Stein, Molly Hayes, Karolina Dean, Gertrude Yorkes and Old Lace (with Armor Piercing), and Nico Minoru (with Contingency Plan).
In the corner of the map, at the stables, was a Mystical theme of Dr. Strange (Secret Invasion), 2 Johann Kraus, Infinity Challenge experienced Scarlet Witch, Fantastic Forces experienced Scarlet Witch, Wiccan, and an Alfred Pennyworth bystander.
In the corner to the right of the Mystical theme, around the big blocking Christmas tree, were the Avengers: Captain America (experienced from Armor Wars) with Contingency Plan, and Armor Piercing; red/blue Web of Spider-Man Spidey, and Giant-Sized X-Men Beast and Wolverine. All 4 Avengers had an Alias. This was the same player who played me back on the half-map Asgard Fountain.
In the middle of my side of the map were me and my Marvel Knights. They were starting in Santa's living room, near the fire, and they ended up bashing their way into his bedroom by way of 3 damage attacks to the walls to make some space and hindering terrain.
To my left, opposite my girlfriend, was another friend running 400 points of X-Force: Shatterstar, LE Archangel, the Giant-Sized X-Men Domino, the black-suited X-23, and Web of Spider-Man Wolverine, with the ATA on all members.
It's safe to say that the Mystical player was the only one prepared for a 6-way onslaught.
This was a loss on my end, and we had to call the game due to the time of night, but at the end, the Mystical team was holed up in the dining room area mid-map, and the Avengers and Runaways were closing in on him.
However, as the X-Force team was pinched between me and my girlfriend, she basically took out half of X-Force while Daredevil took down Shatterstar and Wolverine.
ENDING TALLY, Game 8
All Marvel Knights defeated
Daredevil KOs: Shatterstar; Web of Spider-Man Wolverine
Total Daredevil KOs so far: 10 in 8 games
Win/Loss record: 4-4

300 Martial Artists
Batman 102 (Exp Icons)
Daredevil 81 + Stunning Blow 10
Captain America 72 (Smoky Feet)
Howard the Duck 35
I played against the same team on the same indoors bank map for both of today's games: X-Force's gray/black suited Wolverine, X-23, and Wolfsbane, and the new Domino. The first game, both of us forgot to place objects; the second game, I made sure to put three down in the lobby. In short, as much as I hate to say it, Icons Batman, a long favorite of mine, isn't the right piece for this team. Daredevil offers much of the same utility minus the Outwit and 2 range for 21 fewer points (11 after Stunning Blow). Plus, my friend noticed I was being a bit reckless with Daredevil, going much too offensive with him instead of playing him and Batman more tactically and mobile. Admittedly, his X-Force build was highly aggressive, and he made quite a few hits on me when I was getting constant one-offs, but I had the potential to not get pinned down like I did. Overall, while both games were losses, Daredevil got three more KOs to his list, and I learned lessons about playing him and Howard the Duck correctly.
In short, this team was much too stationary and short-ranged without having ample close combat protection. My next build, which I already have planned for Saturday's 300 point tournament, is addressing this. More info on that come Saturday or Sunday!
ENDING TALLY, Game 9
All Martial Artists defeated
Daredevil KOs: X-23; Wolfsbane
Total Daredevil KOs so far: 12 in 9 games
Win/Loss record: 4-5
ENDING TALLY, Game 10
All Martial Artists defeated
Daredevil KOs: Wolfsbane
Total Daredevil KOs so far: 13 in 10 games
Win/Loss record: 4-6
