Silver Surfer project.
I have been going through the process of some repaints and have been itching to do a Silver Surfer clix of my own. Was there a program out there that let you make dials?

Anyone know the formula on how to calculate points?

What models do you think would make a good Surfer repaint?

I made a surfer, & he turned out great, here's what big daddy (me) used:

for the board:
oval shaped flyer base, with the tip of blades sword underneath at the back for the fin, painted silver of course

for the surfer body:
hydra operative, removed gun & head with an Xacto knife, sanded smooth (I used a dremmel tool for that, although patience & sand paper work just fine) painted silver

for surfer head:
human torch, used xacto knife to cut off the flames,
here's the tricky part torches eyes are outlined in black, the eyes are yellow, I painted the eyes white, & the head silver but left the black outline

glues on head, glued body near the back of the base, I had to glue him to the post otherwise he was to back heavy to stay put, I picked up some lettering decals from the gaming store & used a dr. strange base (for the defenders logo) then I removed the sticker with the stats from an OWAW superman then put that sticker in a plain black dial & put it on the bottom of the base

taa daa silver surfer correction a playable silver surfer

WHAT?!
that's just a fancier version of what I did!!
(but i think that's how you got your idea)
I shaped an anhillus flight base into a board, put a "gunless" hydra operative fig on it, painted it silver.

...come on, why can't you people just be creative...

I have a number of tools to create Stat dials that I found by browsing the web. If you require any of them let me know and I'll give you the web address....oh to heck with it here ya go....

I think they have a dial generator to work at the points and a Stats & Dialtop kit too. You might need Adobe Illustrator to use it though!

Hope this helps!
