Episode 87: Superman Dial Talk, Cap top 5 and Hulk Speculations!This week Steve and Gudda talk about some of the new Superman Set previews, give their speculations on the Hulk set, and give their top 5 Captain America Set Characters!

And for the record. I honestly didn't realize that about Modok and I feel horrible about it. Rematch is already scheduled to see if Modok does as well.

Top 5 from Captain America.

1) Capt America #40: Really cool sculpt and shield mechanic really fits Cap. Would still love to see the shield come back but that will make him too good

2) MODOK: actually don't have him but I really like him and still need to get one

3) Quake: cheap and nasty. Love her on Secret Warriors

4) Batroc: Any time you can L/C and then attack it is awesome

5) Sin: I just like this figure. Stealth for 4 damage from 6 range for only 57 pts. That is good.

Never thought about Sin. Might have to put her on my next team.

I agree with Gudda....I think that the F4 Hulk will be a keyword added to one of the other Hulks...................and no Future Foundation (costumes at least) in this set.

They should be coming but not in this set (and I'm looking forward to them!)..........the main set only has what 50 spaces.


My top 5 from Cap;

1) Weapon X: Lets me try out the timer function and have a very effective Wolverine when points on the team are tight.

2) Bob, Agent of Hydra: I'm playing Deadpool anyway, and he looks like fun.

3) Cap wShield: I really like the versitility of the dial and how he interacts with the WCs on my New Avengers teams..............I've played him in 10+ games now..............not once as Steve.

4) Luke Cage: After having played for quite some time with the Avengers version or Rk She-Hulk(SN) it's nice to have a bit more for Luke. I've been using T-Bolts to help his teamates out using Defenders and the click of Leadership helps out in the early going............ he has done really well.

5) Bucky-Cap: Exactly what my very close combat heavy New Avengers were asking for............RS, range, and perplex. Great.

Love the Clixcast.

I like 7 Deadly Brothers. I think there are going to be some crazy swarm teams. He has potential for sure.

I've been a fan of Maxwell Lord since the Justice League( Giffen, Demattis, Maguire era).

Magog looks pretty good. I loved the KC series, and love the idea of more KC figs.

The older KC figs are still pretty pricey.

Starboy/Starman's design is from KC as well.

My top 5 Captain America figures(dial wise, in no particular order) to play with...

Nick Fury (Secret Warriors as a team has played well, Phobos rocks)
Jack Flag (very underrated, but usually does well, great on GotG team)
Crimson Dynamo
Capt. America(dbl base)
Hydra Agent (the trait is awesome)

Hulk predictions...

A natural 6 dmg

4 Bruce Banner Hulks (purple pants, Mr. Fixit, smart Hulk, more recent)

3 She-Hulks(Jen, Lyra, Betty)

Intelligencia members 2: Wizard(limited fliers in set) Mad Thinker.

Reed and Ben(because of Johnny and Sue in Cap).

Future Foundation is a F4 set theme in back half of 2012.

The Hulks special power should be (he can't be mind controlled)+(regin 1 click each turn)Give him 11 clicks of life.His last click should be stealth,outwit cause he's Banner now not at the start of his dial.Give him regin at the end of his dial also.(doesn't take much to make him mad)Give him (willpower and imperv) down his dial.When the Hulk throws a object add his dial damage to the objects damage.5 damage all the way down.This Hulks ready to fight.(doesn't need to get madder)

Loved the over/under segment guys.
6 Dmg seems correct to me, as for Banner hulks are we counting Ultimate universe which now has two hulks at least. Only one is banner though seems like a possible chase, if it's not the HoH's.

Or if we get a 1602 Hulk to go with Rojaz. My guess for Banner hulks is around 5 not counting Gf/FF. Hulk "purple pants" , Mr Fixit, Proffesor/Maestro, then 2 possible chase's it is possible they make a World war Hulk as that was different armor and more powerful than Green Scar.

On she hulks I say 2 Jen and Lyra while we are getting a new red hulk I'm not sure we will get a new red she hulk unless shes a repaint/le of Jen.I do agree Lyra/thudra le/repaint seems a given.

As someone who is also mostly a marvel fan I'm still excited for Supes if for nothing else then the reign of the supermen figs and another doomsday. Will make for a fun theme event.

Gudda is wrong. You stick to your guns, Steve! Wolverine could cut Supes. I don't think he could cleave bone, but I do believe he would draw blood (and then Superman would two-finger flick him over California).
