i would get rid of thor or quasar and make room for more models if you are going to use brilliant. and at high point games i like to put fortitude on thor.
Your 500 point team has some real good figures on it. Dr. Strange and Namor are a great team; however I think that you will be out-actioned pretty easily. Your team has some real beat-sticks on it but it only takes one outwit to render Namor virtually ineffectual. I feel that when it comes to Avenger Teams that the more figures you have the better it will do. I would forgo the feats and try to re-tool your teams for more figures. I put together an Avenger team that can be somewhat a prototype for your build....
83 CA040 Captain America
98 CA014 Luke Cage
79 CA030 Falcon
103 GX009 Wolverine
77 SI041 Spider-Girl
50 SI001 Spider-Man
Total: 490 Falcon is there as a double taxi (red bird), Luke, Cap, and Wolverine are your primary attackers (remember Lukes leadership), Spider-man and spider-girl are your harassers and secondary attackers. If you need to use a feat I recommend either armor piercing or stunning blow on spider-girl.
The same can be said for your 900 point team. You have some heavy hitters but will be swarmed easily. Also with so few figures on the team it's pretty easy to see the strategy you will be using and which figures will be the major threat. Here is another build that you can use as a blueprint for the 900 point build.
103 GX009 Wolverine
95 GX010 Beast
83 CA040 Captain America
188 SI021 Iron Man
79 CA030 Falcon
98 CA014 Luke Cage
77 SI041 Spider-Girl
149 SI033 Dr. Strange
20 FFF003 Brilliant Tactician
892
Plenty of room for a few more feats (Not so special comes to mind) or a special object.
