A major exaggeration and hilariously mean spirited, but Twisted Toyfare Theater referred to Sue Storm as "who you went to get DNA samples of the Marvel Universe".
Hailing from the What If? Annihilation comic from years back this couple was one of the best duo team I ever played and still plays well.

(Damage) Strategic Database: Danger can use Probability Control. Her powers can't be countered, and no opposing characters 10 or fewer squares from Danger to which she has a clear line of fire at the beginning of any action can have their combat values modified during that action if the modified value would be higher.
Coming out to a constructed team size 298 they were competitive and quite fun to play together. I removed Danger's flight base and superglued her directly to her base. Which looks quite nice. As well as helped her be stored in the case I had her in. 298 didn't leave much room for feats, though. But, hey it worked!
Thor and Valkyrie? Isn't he the son of her boss or something? Awkward!
I like couples where one figure gives a bonus if they're both on the board. Some romantic couples with this type of mechanic include:
Carol Ferris and Hal Jordan
Red Guardian and Black Widow
John Jameson and She-Hulk
Shanna and Ka-Zar
Black Bolt and Medusa
Spider-Man and Mary Jane Watson
They're all from recent sets (except Medusa) so they should all be pretty competitive. I'm thinking of running Carol and WL Hal for an event this week.
The GSX duos Gambit/Rogue and Cyclops/Phoenix would also be good couples to play on Valentine's Day.
Kudos on avoiding the cliche couples. I like that you went a little less well known.
Thanks, I tried to.

Yeah, Mystique was on a list of characters whose names kept popping up when I was putting together the potential couples. It was her, Scarlet Witch, Wolverine and Iron Man. Some people just be gettin' a lot.

That's a good one, I forget that they are in a relationship.
I even played them together on a robot team together recently and I still forgot about their radio linked relationship.

Dick and Donna have a brother/sister relationship. They have never had a romantic relationship. But if we're looking for another non-Barbara but in Heroclix relationship for Mr. Grayson, there's always:
Nightwing and Huntress
Nightwing and Jesse Quick (but not after she became Liberty Belle)
And more Titans:
Beast Boy and Raven
Hawk and Dove
Kid Devil and Ravager (somewhat one-sided)
Jericho and Raven
Kid Flash/Wally West and Raven
Speedy/Roy Harper/Red Arrow and Cheshire
Green Lantern/Kyle Rayner and Donna Troy/Troia
And with DCnu - Any male and Starfire
DC
Mr. Miracle & Big Barda
Black Cannary & Green Arrow
Batman & Robin
Hawkman & Hawkgirl
Luthor & Amanda Waller (well, at least they kissed each other)
If they do, then you can link up male character by simply fielding the Black Widow. She's been passed around and fitted on more hands then the Infinity Gauntlet.
My personal Favorite 200 point team:
Cass Cain (70 pts)
and Connor Kent (the 125 from superman)
comes out to 195, enough to put a gem (or if you're mean, a bomb) and his tk and perplex compliment her skill-set very well...
