My venue is running this format for the infinity gauntlet 2.Up to 150 points from any modern set BB on up. The remaining points come from either a CA or IH booster. What would you run? Probably going to run into a lot of supermen so possibly a counter?

I was thinking maybe some of these combos:

CA Nick Fury-109
Shield Specialist-37

Would provide support, outwit, and two shield TA's. I'd want to find a nice ranged piece to pair with these in my booster.

Kid Zoom-87
Zibarro- 54

Shuts down HSS and gives me a nice Outwit that can see through stealth.

Any other ideas?

If LOTR is allowed Mouth of Sauron and Gollum could be a really funny pair with any big hulk figure

i would dump KZ and Zibarro and go all shield. wouldn't worry too much about hss unless it were a SM Sealed, and if you are using shield TA even against hss, you're range could probably keep them @ bay pretty well, but i'm biased, i love running shield teams

I was thinking Fury and the Specialist also. To kill Fury you would have to get around stealth, mastermind, and avoid his outwit. Even then he can still get healed pretty easily by the specialist.

exactly and not to mention the other perks of shield
