We may have gotten a good power. What if it was exactly VGA's power and Wizkids admitted that they totally got the idea from him? Would it make the power bad?
VGA posted all kinds of "Live To Win" junk at me in threads about that kinda stuff. I thought it was senseless. The way he posted much of that stuff was condescending and at least a little nasty.
But he's got that website will all the cards on it or something and I wouldn't hesitate to use that resource if I needed it and I think it's really cool of him to go to all the work to gather all that stuff and keep it up to date and share it with anyone.
You take the good, you take the bad, you take 'em both and there you have. . .
I didn't say it should. It just... does. Whatever. I never had any direct conflicts with the guy.
"At the beginning of your turn you may choose to give this character a Power Action. All Damage dealt to this character until the beginning of your next turn is reduced by 3. This character may not be given free action. This character may not be moved from its square as a result of TK, Carry abilities, or Knockback Damage. "
or something.
also ranged is already powerful enough. there really doesnt need to be a normal ability that grants a ranged flurry.
Current Top 5 wants: MM220 Dark Phoenix, ASM041B Hobgoblin, CA055 Kitty Pryde, HA049 Ultron, CT028 Doombot X9[/u]
What people here continue to overlook is that a standard power means something so iconic that a wide variety of characters have it.
Name one of those for me, just one, that is so common that it could end up on 100+ figures.
Everything listed in here is a special power, or a trait.
“And that's when I first learned about evil. It is built in to the very nature of the universe. Every world spins in pain. If there is any kind of supreme being, I told myself, it is up to all of us to become his moral superior.”

Is that only characters with the purple square or characters that have a power that grants Force Blast?
Can we divide that number by three for all the REVs that it's on?
Are we counting duplicates of the same character?
We are talking characters, not figures, right?
In any case, I would not have thought that there were even 242 HeroClix figures with Force Blast. Nice research!
Based on my understanding of how the units section works, that only applies to figures who show the purple square in the speed slot (and that is 242 figures, not characters). However, it looks like Force Blast does tend to be awarded to either unique figures or only a single aspect of an REV (with some notable examples, such as Blue Beetle or Iron Man). So that number does actually represent quite a large number of individual characters as well.
Every cosmic-type or elemental mutant has thrown a barrage of attacks. So there's ranged flurry.
Juggs, hulk, supes, bane, collosus, and pretty much anyone with SS has and should throw enemies.
Multiple Targets and Energy Explosion cover the first one nicely. A barrage by definition is not as powerful as one single, aimed shot.
Knockback covers throwing enemies. They don't do it all the time, just once in a while. And if you're going to give them another power that allows them to throw, then you've taken away their Super Strength. Losing proposition.
Those two are broken and done. What else?

Gotta disagree multiple energy explosion is not the same as a barrage, nor does it represent it accurately/make a decent substitute. Also, I didn't say it was better, but I think it should be an option.
Throw OUGHT to come with SS, and SS ought to be like indom. Again, I don't care how often it's been used in canon, there's no mechanic for it, and that's wrong. IMO.
ALSO, to go back, anyone should be able to block, and I think that characters like hulk/supes and the like should ignore more than just 2 damage, not "eat" all of it like impervious does...
So what you are saying is that broken figures should be more broken reducing 3 instead of 2.
What you will see then is that a lot of figures that now have 3 damage would have 4. That would be the balance new balance of the game.
i must say that it bother me that Super strenght only give you bonus with objects. it should have a bonus without them to like +1 to damage all the time and the throw option. It's not the same to be hit by a super strong guy than to be hit by a standar mortal.
"Figure" and "character" are synonyms in HeroClix. [/nitpick]
Yeah, but I wanted to clarify that they weren't 242 unique *comic* characters (which I should have specified). Especially as one of them is a Star Trek ship and at least a dozen are different kinds of Iron Men.
