Just FYI - you are welcome to bother me about getting it running well on your Mac. I honestly am running it at the highest resolution right now without an issue. Sure, I feel a 'slow' down but no more than anything else in a virtual environment.

At Gencon last year, there was a conversation about Wizkidz getting there own room. During the discussion it was explained that there is a size requirement for rooms and a game can only grow 25% from year to year. Since the down year crushed the attendance for a year, Wizkids has to build up to more space.

Harndog got everyone who spent the most time online talking things over to sign a letter that 6 people had a group effort on. (but Harndog did all the work)

He then invited everyone to sign it. HB signs it a month later.......(page4)

Another point i disagree w/ him on his the number of ppl online. I didn't play but a few times in Dec due to working 70hr weeks on 3rd shift. However, the most ppl i've ever seen online is 53. so i dunno where he's get the triple figure from?

Besides that its mint! really glad we got to hear about the league, hopefully that gets the word out there more! Funny how the "debate" thread came up in conversation. I think HB speaks a lot better than he types, and he brings up some really good points about what Hair and him disagree on(IMO). Hair is comin from someone who's played a lot and has tons of figs, HB+company want more peeps off the fences and online so the game can grow. I TOTALLY agree w/ that at this point, more ppl = more money for Wizkids/NECA = (hopefully) new sets FASTER.

so who doesn't want new sets faster? Only Idiots!?!

#1 thing wrong with sponsored leagues is no "mix and match". (anyone remember when this "went away" for tabletop?)

He gives Hair some props on his League but makes everything we've done seam small time. Maybe cuz HB didn't wanna play ? oh well, can't blame a guy for talkin up his own kicks.

Glad you enjoyed the podcast. I felt like we kept getting away from hcol a lot, but I guess that was fine because the other subjects did interest me and we managed to always make it back to hcol. Anyway you are right about harndog. My complaints were more direct, some in the forum and email but a lot in the chat lobby. Complaining in the chat lobby one day I was finally told that a state of the game announcement would be forthcoming and I could announce that in the community.

We were running well over 100 people online just before we went to paid beta with some huge spikes when realms released free codes to everyone.

All the leagues so far have been great and I played in all of them cept for the last one because I was working on hcol. I did donate some cb's to it though and I did like the concept.

ohhhh like way back in the beginning of 2011.....ya i guess i could totally see that, i got my key in the first or second batch. If it hadn't have been my busy part of the year i would have played more.
Anyway, since paid beta whats the most u've seen online? i only bring it up b/c it was 6am when u said "i've seen a hundred ppl in there" into my headset and there were 3 ppl online(biggnasty shouldn't count cuz he dun turn his comp off).

i would totally say that the most dead period is between 3-8am weekdays(EST). i can say that b/c during that time period i build my teams, and occasionally play someone from Europe.

i know u weren't knockin Hairs league u just kind of acted like it wasn't there. IMO that type of league is better b/c it fits my position better, but if we don't get more new peeps into the system, so they can buy more CB we'll never get new sets.....gotta walk the line on this one. NO MATTER what we do need more than just gravity feeds and starters to make this work long term.

No i don't. When i want to play i want to play. No booting up and waiting for me.



I have seen a few more people on now that the league has been announced. Also i have seen different people in the sealed tournaments. Which is good news for us. More players = more tournaments = more sets.

I meant to do this last night but didnt get it mentioned. I am by no means solo on this. Many thanks to Teambringit, Crimmy, Typhon and Timeshadow. I really wanted to mention Timeshadow last night for his work and organization of the early leagues and encouragement to new players. Timeshadow is the kinda of guy that everyone wishes was at his venue, the solid player that can win but when he doesnt win is most likely receiving fellowship.
