Last updated: November 11, 2012 with the Batwing, Halo and Hired Henchman
The goal: To collect all the actual information we have for the Batman set, as well as to the associated Primer (single-figure countertop display) and Fast Forces pack, and to provide links to the places we got that information from. This post will be updated when more information appears, and I will post to this thread to indicate when I have changed this post.
The sources:
This is a list of every source I've found so far. Sources are indicated as follows:
Official: Information from WizKids/NECA directly.
Secondary: Information from other professional sources.
Other: Information gotten third hand, such as reports of conversations at conventions.
This is meant as a general measure of reliability of the information presented, but not an absolute one. Previews of individual figures and figure photographs are not listed in this section to keep it from being cluttered. Just see the individual piece for these.
Alliance Slide: Slide from Alliance Open House 2011 that announced the set.
bugleboy: bugleboy reveals information from the announcement of the set. (Note: At the time it wasn't clear which Batman set the super boosters were associated with, it has now been clarified to be this one.)
Kinseeker1: Diamond originally announced the set as due in October.
The set was originally set to come out in October. (Kinseeker1) and then moved forward to September. (Munchoboy)
This will be the first of a two part Core-set. (Alliance Slide)
The set will feature traditional boosters, a Fast Forces pack, a Marquee figure, and a countertop display of single-figure boosters. (GAMA Slide-1)
The set poster states that there will be 54 figures in this set. The poster includes Voodoo as #054, so likely this number refers only to main-set figures. (Store poster)
It was originally labelled Batman: Knights and Knaves (Alliance Slide), but the subtitle was later dropped. (Munchoboy-1)
Each brick will have eight normal boosters and one super booster. (Brick solicitation)
Apparently, the prime figures in this set will have "b" appended to their collector's number, and be paired with a non-prime "a" version of the figure. (Munchoboy-3)
There will be a prime at each level of rarity except Chase level. It will be harder to get than other figures at its level of rarity, but will be easier to get than the next level of rarity. (So, an uncommon prime will be harder to get than an uncommon, but easier to get than a rare.) (dseanhillman)
There will be seven different Super Boosters configurations. (Brick solicitation)
The seven known vehicles are all of the vehicles in the set. (Alliance PDF)
Except for the Bug (which is 3x6), all vehicles will be 2x4. (Alliance PDF)
Smaller vehicles are two per super booster. (commandercool) One of the tanks and the police car will be packed in the same booster. (aqhoffman-1, aqhoffman-3) Only the police car and one of the tanks will be packaged together. Despite this, all the vehicles will be equally common. (Munchoboy-4, Munchoboy-5)
Super boosters will have random weights added to them to make cherry-picking difficult. (aqhoffman-2)
Super boosters will follow the GSX-style, rather than Galactic Guardians style. (Brick solicitation)
Each vehicle will have a piloted and unpiloted mode and get bonuses for using specific characters as pilots. (Game Trade Magazine-1)
Figure is named "Nightwing and Batgirl". , , , , , 6, improved something. Looks like 176 points. (Picture) Batman Ally TA. (SonofScarlet-1)
OP Kit information:
The No Man's Land storyline OP event will be running at least through this set and the next (Batman: Streets of Gotham). (Alliance Slide, GAMA Slide-1)
This set's OP kit can be ordered at the usual rates depending on the number of bricks of the main set your venue orders: 1 for 2 bricks, 2 for 7 bricks, and 3 for 12 bricks. (OP Kit solicitation)
The OP kit should arrive on the same day as the main set. (OP Kit solicitation)
The secondary locations on the Gotham Map that comes with the No Man's Land event kits tie to map locations from this kit, the Fast Forces and material from Streets of Gotham. This means that the maps could be Crime Alley, Gotham Clock Tower, Gotham Sewers, Gotham Bank, or Arkham Asylum. (Munchoboy-7, NML Map)
Batgirl: Barbara Gordon, #025. (Store Poster, Lower) Unpainted figure spotted at SDCC. (Picture, in front of left wing of jet.) Standard symbols, trait, uncommon, Batman Ally and possibly another TA (Batman Ally looks off-center), 5. (Picture)
Batman: With "flock of bats" removable element, common. (Jarosa-2) Difficult to interpret line, presented here as in source: "you place these Bats in little solos around him they are commons at 13 or 17 points plasticity add 17 defense with a special don't start on batsman and will be a new figure mechanic to pull stats on there mini dials" (Jarosa-3) Also (presumably, in addition to Batman Ally) has Police Department. 3 "bats" fit on base. (Jarosa-4) Bats begin unattached. Something about "special damage". (Damage special power?) (Jarosa-5) The bats do not come with the Batman, but take up a common slot, separately. (three common slots?). One shown was 17 points, PD TA, plasticity, 17 defense, 1 damage, 7 movement (flight?) and 9 attack. Had a special power on damage. (Jarosa-6) Confirmed as a different figure from the Batman formerly known from the set. (snatreaper) Dial Spoiled! (See also, Caped Crusader.) (Preview)
Batwoman: #036. (Store Poster, Lower) Sculpt spotted at SDCC. (Picture, Game Trade Magazine) No trait, but improvement. Standard symbols. 8 speed with special power, 10 attack plain, 16 defense with combat reflexes, and 2 damage with Perplex. 5. (Picture)
Blackbat: 100 points, . (Jarosa-12) #010, Batman Ally TA, 8 movement with Charge, 11 attack with special, 17 defense with either Defend or Combat Reflexes (becomes Super Senses on 2nd click), 3 damage plain, 0, , and Improvement. (Picture) Dial Spoiled! (Preview)
Joker Thug: #004, 43 points. (aqhoffman-2) Standard symbols, , 4, charge, 9 attack plain, 16 defense with willpower, and 1 with exploit weakness. Looks to be a common. (Picture)
Maul: #024. (Store Poster, Lower) 113 points. (Jarosa-2) Uncommon. Standard symbols. 6 plain movement, 9 plain attack, 16 with Toughness, and 2 damage with Perplex, . Picks up Flurry on his second click. (Picture) Dial Spoiled! (Preview)
Nightrunner: Looks like standard combat symbols, some kind of TA, a trait and Improvement. (Picture) 50 points. (Jarosa-12)
Nightwing: In the fast forces, so probably in the set. (FF Solicitation) Red-logo New 52 costume, #008. (Store Poster, Upper) 72 points, but with multiple starting lines. Batman Ally TA, and possibly another one (looks off-center to me). Standard symbols, no traits or improvement, 8 speed with special power, 10 attack plain, 17 defense with Super Senses, and 3 damage. 5. (Picture)
Rocket Red: Gavril Ivanovich. Rare. , , , , 7. Looks like some kind of TA. No trait. (Picture) JLA TA, 102 points. Looks like #035. (Aliabobwah) 8 speed with running shot, 11 special on attack, 18? and toughness for defense, and 2 or 3 plain damage, 7, and no trait or improvement. (Picture)
Batwing: Unpainted model spotted at SDCC. (Picture) Color image. (Clixathon vehicle slide) Autopiloted is 72 points. , , vehicle defense, , 7, carries 3. Piloted is 144 points, same symbols. Unique. (Through Gamer Goggles)
Bug, The: Blue Beetle's ship. #V006. (Bug slide) Color image. (Clixathon vehicle slide) Unpainted figure. (Picture) Has four dials, one is called "Hazardous Material". (Jarosa-3) One of the dials may be a "special effect" dial, not a standard combat dial. (http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showpo...&postcount=206) On a 3x6 base. (Jarosa-9) Painted figure with black paint job, unlike the blue seen previously. Two different versions? Looks like 139 points piloted. , , . (Picture) Piloted has 8 and carries 5. Autopiloted is 99 points with 6 that carries 6. Comes with a "Beetle dial". (SonofScarlet-1) Unique. (Picture) The "third dial" is labelled "Hazardous Environment". It appears to have the , , vehicle defense, and symbols. The legs are certainly removable. Looks now like the "color differences" seen in earlier pictures might just be different lighting. (Through Gamer Goggles) Dial Spoiled! (Preview)
GCPD Cruiser: Spotted at SDCC. (Picture, Picture) Color image. (Clixathon vehicle slide) Dials are apparently 52 and 58 points. (Jarosa-13) Police TA. Autopilot is 38 points with 5 and carries 2. Piloted is 68 points, 6, and carries 1. (SonofScarlet-1) Picture reveals that the Autopilot is actually 52 points. Standard vehicle symbols. #V004. Not Unique. (Through Gamer Goggles) Dial Spoiled! (Preview)
Haunted Tank: Is a repaint of the Military Tank, but is in the set. (Riksheare) #V006. (affeinvasion) Autopilot is 90 points, with improvement and a trait. 6, carries 4. (Picture) Piloted is 136 points, trait and improvement, 8, carries 3. Unique. (Through Gamer Goggles) Dial Spoiled! (Preview)
Military Tank: An unidentified tank sculpture was spotted at SDCC. (Picture, Picture) Color image. (Clixathon vehicle slide) Autopilot dial is 35 points, piloted dial is 75 points. (Jarosa-11) Painted sculpt. Autopilot dial looks to be 38 points, with improved something. Looks to carry 3 figures. (Picture) Or the autopilot dial might be 38. (Jarosa-13) #V005. Piloted is also improved, with standard vehicle symbols, 6, and carries 2. Not unique. (Through Gamer Goggles)
I don't know how I missed the news about Grifter, but HOT DAMN. I mean, I'd heard confirmation of Wildstorm, but actually seeing him makes me a happy camper. He's easily my new must have figure (and a C or UC too, sweet!).
My personal hope is that with the inclusion of Stephanie Brown Batgirl this means we have a chance of getting a new Barbara Oracle or Helena Bertinelli Huntress. And a friend of mine will be hunting down Grifter with a passion, Wildcats is one of his top faves.

That Batman is a "two part" set, I will be utterly shocked if we don't get Huntress. I know Birds of Prey is a subtheme for one of them (Streets of Gotham, I believe) so Oracle's somewhat likely as well as a new (and proper) Canary.

I'm less certain about Oracle, but Canary feels like a good bet. Huntress should be a sure thing. She's a mainstay in BoP for its best arcs, and she was a player during No Man's Land. If we don't get her I will be shocked.
Not removing this line from my signature until we get Killer Moth (12/17/12).
Missing IC Remakes: Whirlwind, Constrictor, Controller, Boomerang, Blizzard, Puppet Master
Any reason why Killer Croc isn't listed in this thread?

Well I could see it in one way if she is a NML prize
I could see things like
Joker/Harley, Clayface, David Cain, Huntress,Azrael

NO SANTA LEFT BEHIND
Not Just Another Empty Political Slogan
What he said. Killer Croc is the only figure known from Streets of Gotham. He's not known to be in this set.
Hopefully, that's a good enough reason from him not to be listed! : - )
Oh, I guess I'm just confused about what goes where. Barda is in Batman but the evidence thread says that Birds of Prey figures will be in Streets of Gotham. Grifter is in this set, but WILDCATS figures will be in Streets of Gotham.
Wizkids is making my brain confused.
