So, we were discussing "In Contact with Oracle" at the venue today. When we looked it up, we discovered they changed the text so only Legacy Oracle can placed on the card.

IN CONTACT WITH ORACLE
Cost: 10 per character chosen
Choose two or more characters; Oracle may not be chosen. Chosen characters are Agents.
As long as it is not the target on Mind Control, when an Agent is given an action you may choose to give one of its combat values +1 until the beginning of your next turn.
If (Legacy)#085 Oracle is on your force, you may remove her from the battlefield at the beginning of the game and place her on this card. If Oracle is on the card at the beginning of any of your turns, you may assign a power action to any Agent with zero or one action token and turn Oracle’s dial to any click. The Agent given the action may use any power showing on Oracle’s dial until any Agent with zero or one action token is given a power action to turn Oracle’s dial. If your last Agent is KOd while Oracle is on this card, Oracle is also KOd.
So, no more putting Alpha Oracle on the card and giving an agent Mind Control, ES/D and Perplex.
At first I thought it was odd and kind of arbitrary that they would change it all of a sudden after nearly 4 years being able to place Alpha Oracle on the card. Then it occurred to me that this is likely a preemptive measure for this later this year, when we get 2 Batman themed sets, one of which will most likely have a new Oracle with some sort of special power that they don't want any agent of Oracle to be able to use. If this hypothetical SP ends up being similar to similar to Prof X's In Contact power, I could see being able to give it to any agent as broken.

Any other thoughts on this change?
Wow, good catch. I try to read all the red when a new PG comes out and this missed my attention.
I think you must be right. If they had wanted to "limit the powers" they could've changed it to a single power. It's especially weird because (don't anyone take this as an insult to WizKids) they kind of have an "Eh, whatever" attitude when it comes to Golden Age and high point Modern Age games.
As I think about it though, even your explanation seems strange because in the past they've had a simple way to solve this "problem", name her something else. She could be "The Oracle" or go by her real name... although with how Strict DC is with their properties this might not be possible.
I wonder if maybe it's not purely a rulings issue because perhaps one of her powers would be a serious headache if multiple figures were using it.

Ah, we talked about the change too at one of our venues. Your reasoning very well could be why they made the change.
It's about time they changed it though.
I actually liked having the option because the Alpha Oracle plays differently from The Legacy version (and I don't own the Legacy version). But I'm anticipating an Oracle who can be played as either a charactor or a resource like the Infinity Gauntlet
