First, after initially reading Galactus' Herald trait, I assumed it meant that each round of a tournament you could choose a new Herald. From my initial interpretation this worked like a sideboard (for those familiar with the concept) in that I could choose my Herald after my opponent reveals his force, tailoring it to be optimal against his team. However, I discovered a part of the Heroclix force rules that is unclear whether it contradicts that understanding. So, I am looking for a little clarification on whether I can choose a new Herald each round or if I pick one at the beginning of the tournament and stick with it.

My second question deals with the interaction between Ziran and Galactus. Galactus' YOU SHALL NOT HARM MY MASTER says that the Herald gains a revenge token each time Galactus receives damage. If Galactus fails 3 of Ziran's test is he receiving 3 different sources of damage (Thus giving his herald 3 revenge tokens) or is it lumped together as one source of damage, only giving the Herald a single revenge token? Also, Is there a timing issue here where the Herald may not even be on the map to receive the revenge tokens when Ziran is dealing the damage?
Here are the wordings for reference:

For each failed test, Ziran the Tester may deal 2 unavoidable damage, divided as he choses, among opposing characters.
to add to this, if the tests have been failed, while being dealt the unavoidable damage, what order is it dealt in?
- assigned all at once, then dished out?
- assigned 1-6 at a time? if so, can the ziran's owner give one, look at the current slot of the damaged figure, then deal more accordingly to avoid certain powers?
- assign damage to one figure, deal X more to another, then go back to first figure?
thanks for the clarification, lmk if theres confusion.
We're still waiting for clarification on how Ziran's testing damage can be split up and applied.
You can't change your starting composition, but Galactus specifically brings in another character that isn't part of your starting composition. What if your opponent were to offer you a herald and you took it in the first round? Would you have to use his herald for the rest of the tournament? : - )
While I think that the character you choose as your herald can change round to round since you reveal your force and then another figure, I don't think you can use your opponent's team composition to make your decision, because you should be revealing your forces simultaneously, and the herald is revealed when you reveal your force. So, everyone should be showing everything at the same time.
It wouldn't surprise me if it was ruled that the herald must stay the same for the whole tournament, however.

In the case that the rules stated that the herald was one per tournament, couldn't it be said that if you did take their herald, wouldn't that only apply for that game? Because you are using their property. Again, saying that you only had one of your own heralds per tournament, I didn't really see it as a kind of "ante" rule.
