Yeah kinda sucks he's not really scary to me at all his dial should be atleast 20 points lighter its messed up that she hulk could mess up this guys day. Why would a character known for fighting his own battles get front loaded master mind its just really really dumb thanks for reading a book again guys arghhh so frustrating when it's one of you favorite characters and he's literally useless by himself
You are looking at it wrong!
This is now a figure that you don't have to go to the con for, or pay big $$$ for.
Its really a win/win.

...since when is Apocalypse known for fighting on his own? How many different iterations of the Horsemen have we seen, soaking up damage for their master? What about Stryfe and his armies? Genesis and his? Heck, even in an entire alternate continuity NAMED after him, Apocalypse didn't stand on his own.
Not to mention you already have 4 Apocalypse dials designed to 'fight his own battles'. It's about time we had the one that stands back while his Horsemen do the work. If you must, consider this dial to be post-HoM Apocalypse, when he tried to talk the mutants into accepting him.
Will he loose his ATA based trait when he switches to colossal?
Obvious answer is yes. So I'm leaning that way. Just curious if there is an arguement that he keeps it since you score the LE's points.
EDIT:
Also as a huge Apoc fan, it is very rarely we see Apoc throwdown. Mastermind is the perfect word to describe Apoc. My only beef is not one version has had a Dark Riders keyword, which would suggest we are not even close to them being clixed. Hopefully in another 20-30 Hulks or Green Lanterns.
Then why does zemos trait stay and his goes bye bye? THE THUNDERBOLTS GAMBIT:#When you build your force, characters that possess the Masters of Evil keyword or team ability also possess the Thunderbolts keyword. If your force also includes the Thunderbolts Additional Team Ability you must assign it to them.

The only time a character is checked for qualifying to use an ATA is when building your force. Once the ATA is paid for, it doesn't matter if the character keeps the Thunderbolts keyword.
In fact, I think the only time the character has the Thunderbolts keyword is during the build. There's nothing in his trait that gives them the keyword during the game.
Apocalypse' trait also changes how the ata functions, so at the beginning of the game when the ata is "checked" why does it go away when he dies, and not when Zemo dies?

The difference is Baron Zemo affects the characters during the build, not quite at the beginning of the game.
Also, Apocalypse's trait affects never talks about checking his ATA at the beginning of the game.
It just says:
"Characters using the Horsemen of Apocalypse Additional Team Ability modify their attack values regardless of how many character can use it."
So when a character is using the ATA, they see if they qualify, and if Apocalypse is on the field, then they can use it regardless of the number of characters with the ATA on the field.
When Apocalypse loses this trait, either by transforming, or by being KO'd, then when you check if you can use the ATA, there's nothing that would circumvent the original ATA rules.
It does not note anything about altering the ATA permanently.
