Understandable. I'm in the camp that if you don't like it just don't buy it.

I do laugh a little when I see some of the (what I think are high prices) now and then, not that a seller isn't able to ask that for it, but more because I know there's someone out there that it's worth it to and they'll probably sell it. I see stuff on here all the time that I think...Really? And the next time I visit that sales thread it's marked "Sold".

Example of a sucker... I paid $20 for my Mistress Death (skull variant) plus shipping on release week. I look at some of the SR prices right now and cringe, but it's really a wash...I got a better deal on some of them too.

If market says a brick of GSX is selling for $180 (or so) that's what I'm going to ask for it. Or maybe $170 to undercut the other guys and sell mine a little faster.

I WISH I had a few bricks or cases of HOT, DC75, or GSX just sitting around. This hobby might pay for itself. Well...at least for the next couple of sets anyway.

me and you both man lol. I say if someone on here has case of D.C75 or GSX and have not given in to cracking it open. Well they have earned the extra cash they want for it. That stuff would not last in its packaging longer than 15min around me.

I can choose what to sale for how much, like everyone on here says come talk to me, hell even on my forum give me a free bump but dont go on here and run your mouth about what i am doing. Second i mentioned in this thread my boy bought some GG and these are HIS asking prices. And I said things are negotiable as well.

Third, I do business fair, very fair. Both sides are always happy. As you can see I already did a deal with someone in here and we both were happy.

Fourth, learn about how things work. In the rules it says i choose about gift or not. I do that for no fees. I hope others trust me that I love this game and respect others who play it as long as you respect me.Gift will not charge you as it has been pointed out. So I really do no want to say it but have to "how does foot taste".

Well it seems you have really come full circle 'Nerd'. You start out bashing the what you called too high rip-off prices, and then do the same. You tell folks not to bad talk your thread after you have done the same.

Seems like all this started after I put up a brick of GsX for $180. Maybe you can consider that too high, however I am the one who knows how much I paid for it, how much it is going to cost to ship it, and how much profit that I need to make for it to be worthwhile to do the transaction, for me. Before I priced it I checked E-bay and saw that a brick of GsX had just gone for about $184 I believe it was.

Here is the thing, the brick has been purchased; I'm happy, the buyer is happy!!! The guy who got it has never opened a booster of GsX, (got into the game afterwards),he can hardly wait to tear into it. Like Neoclix said, it was all me and my 2 sons could do to keep from it.....there it was glistening under the light over our kitchen table, begging to be pounced upon for not 1, not 2,but 5 whole long days...the sheer agony agghhh!!!

I'd have cracked it. I bought all my GSX as singles. Never saw an unopened booster for the set.

For the record... If I'd had the $180 to spend I'd have taken the chance on it. That's fair market with GSX right now with the price of the SRs and Rs.

It's probably still got one of the best CUR sets for play on the maps. Some of the CUs still bring a market price of $1 - $5. That's almost unheard of for the newer sets...

It's worth the risk... Though I'd cry if I just got Armor and The Captain as my SRs...

$180 is three and a half dollars per figure. You *could* make your money back. But most likely you would not. That's a very high rate for figures that will mostly end up being worth nothing, or 10 cents each (enjoy those copies of Tarot and Pretty Boy :/ ) Heroclix has an interesting secondary market. Right now GSX is hot because it's not available and it's still modern age, but once it falls into golden age the value will plummet. Six or seven expansions from now and even Magneto will have been power creeped into irrelevance in even golden age and the figs will be worthless, like (most) of the figures from the Topps era. So it's certainly a good time to be selling, but personally I wouldn't pay premium prices for past cases or bricks because it's not a very good value per figure.
