Celebrate 10 years of Marvel HeroClix with this special set of fan-favorite characters! Twelve Marvel HeroClix characters take center stage in this set with 24 sculpts and dials designs based on early and Modern Age appearances. Playable individually or together, the early and Modern Age versions of each character are joined together by the special Battlefield Promotion mechanic, which allows early appearance versions of the characters to attain a higher level of power as they transform into their Modern Age counterpart!
The right up is the same for DC and Marvel. Release date is 8/1/12

Ughhh... I hate that Marvel box art that's on every little kids tee-shirt, lunch box, hat, pants, shoes, pants again.... It's dumb!

The DC art is cool, but batman looks like he just got done practicing his pirouettes.

LMAO!

I was not going to buy any of this, but the Catwoman in the purple costume and Lex in the battlesuit changed my mind.

It intrigues me that in a set with only 12 characters we'll be seeing at least two DC villains. That bolsters my interest substantially. I'm not really a fan of Lex Luthor, but the possibility that the set will feature (relatively) under-printed core DC villains instead of just another round of sculpts for the big seven has a certain appeal.

A pity that no evidence is immediately available of something similar in the Marvel set. No matter how beautiful the set might be, if it amounts to the 7th Avengers-centric product of 2012 (following 3 AVM products and probably 3 Chaos War products) it will be a rather hard sale. Still, the Spider-Man from the box-side art is pretty cool.
I was given rep for my screen name alone! Now I feel all warm inside

I missed it actually, so thanks for pointing it out. I was going to (mostly) skip that set. I guess if it is Worldbreaker, I'll need to get at least 1 figure.
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........

Neil Peart is the best drummer of all time. Period.

It should go well with literately the 13th modern age Hulk. Assuming there are 0 in chaos war.

If Lex has the Legion of Doom keyword, I will need him. Marvel's not getting me very excited at this point, other than my desire to own every Spidey sculpt.
Not removing this line from my signature until we get Killer Moth (12/17/12).
Missing IC Remakes: Whirlwind, Constrictor, Controller, Boomerang, Blizzard, Puppet Master

Since it says the release date is 8/1, I'm guessing we'll see them hit stores around 9/1.
