Match Rules

All league matches are organized by the players and played in casual public match play.
The format is Marvel Constructed 300 point build that meet the following prerequisite:
- Figures can be from any Marvel set; Galactic Guardians Gravity Feed excluded.
- Theme requirements, all figures must share a keyword. Generic Theme teams must have three figures minimum. Named Theme Teams must have two figures minimum. For clarification use chart:

- Warrior
Teams may be altered between each match as long as the prerequisites are met.
Restriction: Figures are Marvel Only. No duplicate figures are allowed including if they are the same rev.
Matches must be marked Marvel only during match setup.
Timers must be on. Both Timer options (User Timers & Time Limits) must be checked. The game ends when one player is eliminated or time runs out. Please note: When the clock hits zero ??? then a random amount of time will be added onto the game. The game will automatically end when this time expires and a result screen will pop up with the winner, loser, and scores.
Each league member will be placed within a Conference and a Division. Placement is determined by previous league data accumulated for each player.
Each league member must play a minimum of 16 games in four weeks to qualify for playoffs.. Members may play up to 24 games that count in standings. Members may play more than 24 games but only the first 24 games will be counted towards league standings. Games past 24 may however count toward another members allotted games and should be reported. *
Within the four week time period you may play as many opponents as you like within your conference, however only the first qualifying match with any single player will count towards league results.
The top six to ten players in each Division will qualify for playoffs.
Reporting Games. The winner of each game will report the results at the HCOL Game Reporting forum. The winner shall report and include the winners and losers HCO names, and point totals.
Example:
Timeshadow W 354 points
Crimmy L 54 points
The loser of any match should verify the post and ask winner to modify if incorrect, however HCO will verify any discrepancies in cases of unsettled conflict. Disputes should be directed [email protected]. In the event of a dispute, please include name of both players, time and day of the match.
In the case of a technical match error that prohibits match continuation for both players, the match will be thrown out.
Rules related bugs or issues will not be recognized as a reason to negate the outcome of a match.
Any games played in official HCO tournaments do not qualify for this league.
HCRealms.com staff will report via the Official HCrealms Forums the previous week's results on Mondays of each succeeding week.
The top 32 players will be announced on Monday June 11th. Results can be found at the Official HeroClix Online League forum
Players from the same households or players found to have multiple accounts may not play their associated account for league wins. Any league wins accomplished in this manner will be thrown out.
Any decision made by HCRealms.com in regard to league play, issues or questions will be final.
HCRealms.com reserves the right to amend or alter these rules at any time if, in their sole discretion, it is deemed to benefit the league, game or community.

Playoff Rules

League match rules are still in effect but with the following exceptions.
Top 32 players will be entered and seeded into a single elimination playoff beginning Tuesday June 12, 2012 and ending with the final eight players on Friday June 15 ,2012. The Final eight will play on Sunday June 24, 2012.
Playoff rule alterations: Team build will be submitted to the league director prior playoff commencement. Teams will be locked for the duration of playoffs until a league champion is determined.

Reminders/Clarifications

Okay, everyone, we are about to begin play. I want to remind you of some things and also perhaps make a few things clearer.

There are two Conferences. The Faxan Conference and the Yamah Conference. Each Conference has two Divisions. The Yamah Conference consists of the Zonk and Splat Divisions. The Faxan Conference consists of the Bam and Pow Divisions.
Players will be placed into Divisions and allowed only to play players in their respective Conferences. Players are competing with other players within their own Division.
The top players from each Division will qualify for the playoffs as follows:
- Zonk: Top 10 Players
- Splat: Top 8 Players
- Bam: Top 8 Players
- Pow: Top 6 Players
To qualify for weekly drawings you must play a minimum of four games that particular week. I will be giving the qualifying names to Yamah at HCO each week and she will use a randomizer that will pick out that week's winners.
You must play a minimum of 16 games to receive your participation prize and to possibly qualify for the top 32 playoffs.
It is the winner's responsibility to report the game at HCRealms.com HCOL Game Reporting forum. The losing player should verify any discrepancy. In case of a dispute, please try to resolve between yourselves first but if unable to reach a conclusion the dispute should be directed to HCRealms forums.
