In the Avengers 2 set.

I'd be interested what you would expect from a dial for him, with that much screen time in the movie. Pepper Potts had more significant actions to base a dial on than "HE" did. Plus, we didn't get his Chitauri army, so at best he could have zero stats, and a special power to put another lower point figure or a figure named loki in charge of his army, which again doesn't exist.

Or maybe a power where when a friendly adjacent character takes no actions during a turn, he can move into on adjacent space to signify his turning and smiling.

I'm thrilled he was in the stinger scene, and his role in the movie is significant, but we have no idea what kind of HIM we're dealing with. Is it gonna be like a lot of other characters that mix classic marvel elements with Ultimate marvel story lines? Or is he kind of unique like Thor in that he's not exactly like anything we've seen before, but fulfills similar archetypes and purposes.

Plus, he may be like the mandarin in that he doesn't actually appear anytime soon. That would be an interesting way to go, cause every stinger scene has had implications much sooner.

Anyway, that's a long answer to where and maybe when he is.

And you should probably post what the spoiler is in reference to. Luckly, this is one of those things that most everybody already knows.

Except for me...who would have not clicked the box knowing the point of reference.

Besides with the stuff going on this year the fans are definitely getting their HC fill of that particular character. Anymore and Hal Jordan is going to have to give up his overdone crown.

there no reason to have a figure whose only appearance in the movie is to sit & smirk. No inkling what his stats and powers would be in the movie-verse.


In fact, I think the only people that would even want his figure are the same group of deluded fanboy-fanfic-in-their-head-writing weirdos that got some satisfaction over the Sinestro corps Batman.

One panel in a book does not equal a figure, nor does one tag scene and a profile shot equal a figure.

I also did not know about this, not having had a chance to see the movie yet. I suppose I don't have to bother to sit through the credits now.

An indicator what kind of spoiler this is would have been kind of nice.

I agree, I am going to see the Avengers tonight and it really sucked that I had to find out about Thanos here. I assumed it was a CLIX spoiler you were referring to...

Wow. Yeah, good going titling the thread "Spoiler Warning" and then by the time I've clicked thinking it related to upcoming HeroClix and gone halfway through the thread do I see that the title has been changed to reflect the context. Nice.

Im not so sure he will play a big role in Avengers 2, afterall once you battle him, who is there to challange the avengers?

For those worried about this spoiling the movie, the scene spoiled above occurs very quickly after the credits start rolling (basically just the major character credits). Then, after ALL the credits, there is a second little scene that has nothing to do with the spoiler above.

So if you are the kind that has to see everything, there is still a reason to stick around
