Thugit Inc: The Greatest KO List That Nobody Knows
I figured that I would throw my hat into the Thugit Inc ring. For this challenge I knew that there was only one character that I could even hope to match some of the other threads here, The Greatest Super-Hero That Nobody Knows...Booster Gold!

For all my games using him I am going to run the Vet Origins Booster. In games that are 300 points or less I will only use him with Crisis Supernova and Crisis Rip Hunter. In games over 300 I will use him with other members of the JLI mainly the Crisis Blue Beetle. Since Booster is a shameless self promoter and his reputation is usually in tatters I will run him with the gauntlet if the points allow it.

I Managed to Play a couple of games last Friday at my venue. First up I played a friend of mine who had just gotten the DC75th Doomsday and wanted to try him out.

I played:

Booster Gold
Supernova
Rip Hunter

Total:299 points

He played

Doomsday
Gee

Total: 299

Map: Madripoor

He got the roll to go first and started by TK'ing Doomsday out to pick up a heavy object and take some shelter behind some elevated terrain. I moved Supernova out while leaving Rip and Booster in my starting area. My plan involved hitting him with Supernova's Incap and sending him to my starting area where Booster was waiting with a heavy object and Rip was there with Outwit and Prob. Since he positioned behind the blocking terrain I was unable to get the opening running shot + incap off, and he based Supernova with Doomsday. I went for the close combat incap but no avail I missed and next turn he pasted Supernova with 7 dmg from the heavy object. But right after he killed Supernova he left himself wide open and within 5 squares of Booster. I outwited him with Rip and Booster Went for the charge. First roll...miss...But I had Prob! Second roll 11! hit Doomsday for 5 dmg. Doomsday had to rest next turn but Booster only had one token, so once my turn came up again I outwitted with Rip and hit Doomsday for 3. I was a little worried now because he had no tokens and flurry if he managed to put a decent hit into booster I would be hard pressed to hit him. He rolls his first attack...5, alright im still living, he roll his second attack...9..But I still had a prob control from Rip! I make him Re-roll and...CRIT MISS! Loved it. Next I outwited and Killed him with Booster, then Rip Ko'ed Gee giving me the win.

Next Up I faced a fellow member on the realms william242. We played a friendly 300 point match

He ran:

FFWM005 Dr. Manhattan
001 Superman

Map: Airport

This game went pretty smoothly he moved supes up while picking up a heavy, but he couldnt outwit me while my friendly characters were next to Rip Hunter. He kept Manhattan back for the prob contoll in safety. I running shot incapicated with Supernova, I hit and got to place supes in my starting area. Rip outwitted the impervious and Booster charged him with a heavy object for 5 dmg. He was on regen with 1 token so he rolled for it getting a 4, but since he was next to Rip he got prob controlled and got a 3 only healing 1. Next turn I rested and then he rested. My turn again. I outwitted the toughness and Ko'ed Superman. Manhattan was still way back on the other side of the map but because he had no move and attack he moved him up into hindering. It was a repeating cycle, Supernova perplexed up his attack and running shot incaped, and I placed him in my starting area. Rip outwitted and Booster used my other heavy object to hit him for 5. He didnt want to push so he rested. I did push and outwitted him again with Rip and hit for another 3 with Booster Ko'ing him.

After that was done he wanted a rematch but this time swapped out superman for SI Namor. It was pretty much the same thing he moved Namor up to grap a heavy object and Supernova swiped him to my starting area. I outwitted and hit him with Booster. His next turn he didnt want to push so he rested, I pushed Booster and using Supernovas perplex I outwitted and KO'ed Namor. Dr.Manhattan soon followed the same way.

Next match I played a friend of mine who was running a few of the new Avengers figures


He played:

AVM 006 Iron Man With 25pt gauntlet
AVM 019 Iron Man

Map: The Garden


He moved his Iron Men up while rolling the gauntlet, he had seen me run my Supernova strategy so he was keeping his figures out of my range. Knowing y strategy wouldnt work this time I moved Supernova and Booster up while grabbing a heavy object, and Rip phased over to safety in hindering terrain. He running shotted Supernova putting him 4 clicks down and rested his other Iron man. I rested Rip and Supernova but after outwitting Iron Man(006) I shot him with a perplexed up damage from Booster putting him on click 5. He had to rest his 006 Iron Man next turn and the other Iron man got into charge position with a object. I rested Booster but Rip outwitted 006 Iron man and shot him for 2 more clicks. His next turn, He rested his 019 Iron man, and 006 Iron man shot Supernova and Ko'ed him. Next turn though Rip outwitted and Booster shot and Ko'ed 006 Iron Man. His next turn he Charged Rip with his object and hit, But I prob controled! He rolls...Miss! now his object is gone and hes within charge range of Booster. I charge on my next turn and Hit him for 5 dmg, after that it was easy. He decided to rest on his next turn and Booster got the Ko.

Final Game of the night. We played a 3 person 400 point match.

Now both of these people knew about my strategy with supernova and decided to do something about it. After everyone had moved their pieces out 10halleadj TK'ed Thing with a heavy object over to Supernova. He positioned so I had no line of fire with Rip to prob controll him. He rolls...hit..doubles...knockback into the wall and one extra unavoidable. Supernova Ko'ed in one attack. But he left Thing all alone in enemy territory. Just like usual tactics I outwitted him with Rip and charged with Booster. Hit for 5 dmg. My friend with the Iron man's had to rest so it was 10halleadj's turn again. He perplexed up with Mr. Fantastic and tried to hit Booster...4 he missed! alright, my turn again, I outwit with rip and hit Thing for 3 dmg KO! After all worring about Thing I had forgotten about the Iron men. After 3 consecutive attacks and a failed prob control Booster was Ko'ed leaving only Rip and Blue Beetle to fend for themselves. It didnt last long...a perplexed up damage value on invisible woman and a few short attacks later, Rip and Blue Beetle were finished.

Managed to play 2 more games tonight, first up I played a 300 point match against 10halleadj.

I played

Booster Gold
Supernova
Rip Hunter

He played

Red Skull (cosmic cube version) with gauntlet
Bob, Agent of Hydra
Vet Con Artist
Cosmo

Map: The Garden


He stayed out of Supernovas range for the first couple of turns so I switched tactics and tried to snipe down the map using Boosters 10 range, but no avail. With my nine attack I couldnt hit his 17 def with energy shield and a hindering bonus to make it a 20. So using Rip and Supernova as a shield i moved Booster up within charge range and took a few potshots with suoernova. I did manage to hit him but it put him right on his steal energy 10 attk 16 def with invulnerability, I didnt want to have him steal energy on Booster so i decided to throw the heavy object. Hit for 1 dmg. Yeah, then my dice went to crap, he hit 3 on the gauntlet and pasted Booster to his last click. Out of desperation i moved Booster out behind red skull to get a shot on the con artist. Finally i managed to Ko the Con Artist with Booster, but right after that Red Skull hit 3 on the gauntlet and decided that a huge pulse wave attack to kill everything on my team...

Next game went better.

I dedided to change up my team a bit and added some JLI assistance for Booster.

Map: The Airport


This match I wanted to make sure I could make a dent in his big gun figures. so I started by using my HT Booster to taxi lobo up adjacent to his Joker. He managed to run a full 13 squares with Johnny to hypersonic Booster, he hit but thankfully because of the gauntlet i had flurry and the soul gem showing, one flurry attack later Booster had healed back to full and Johnny became the first Ko of the game. On the other side of the map Lobo was dealing with the Joker. He hit him off of his opening click causing him to take 2 clicks. He tried to hit Lobo but it wasnt going to happen. Next turn Lobo Hit him for another 2 and put him on his super senses 17 def click. Then Booster started to attack, first a shot for 3 dmg, and then on my next turn I pushed to kill him off of his last click.

Got to play two games today against 10halleadj

first round he ran

BN004 Green Lantern
BN005 The Flash

I ran

Booster Gold
Rip Hunter
Supernova

Map: Airport

He started by moving his figures up, and I started by running shotting out with supernova to bring him back to my starting area. Rip and Booster were waiting in the starting area as usual and soon GL got hit for 5 dmg. GL retaliated and hit Booster for 2 dmg while the flash hypersonic speeded supernova. The Flash missed against supernova and ran behind a wall. Then Booster finished off Green Lantern. While The flash was behind the wall he had to rest so i phased Rip Hunter over and outwitted his hypersonic speed. Booster and supernova soon followed Rip over and we began the attack against The Flash. It was diffacult to hit him at first but eventually with outwit and prob from Rip Booster began to whittle him down. It didnt happen soon enough though and The Flash Ko'ed Booster. I finished up the game by shooting the flash after outwitting him with Rip.

Final Tally:

The next game didnt go so well. We did a 400

This one was a struggle I knew that sauron was going to be a monster and I was not wrong. He started by phasing up and just waiting for me. I went for the running shot incap with Supernova and actually managed to hit him! I placed him in my starting area and because blue beetle was adjacent to Booster he got a use of outwit. I outwitted his special damage power with Rip and outwitted his defense with beetle. Booster then went for the attack...and missed. Good bye heavy object. Sauron had to rest next turn so i bought myself some time, he rested, and then on my next turn since the power gem was showing on the gauntlet I went for the ranged combat expert attack with Booster. I hit him for 5 dmg! I knew I had to get him down far in his dial so I made subsequent attacks with Rip and Supernova. all this attacking got him to click 8. But now I was in trouble, he had flurry, he went ahead and flurried me putting a big dent into Boosters dial. I was worried at this point, but I had 2 perplexes from supernova and blue beetle so I pushed Booster hoping for the ranged combat attack to kill him. But there was no hope. I rolled a 4 and after prob conrtol I rolled a 3. On his next turn he killed Booster. But I still had a full powered Supernova and after a few short attacks from him it was all over.

I managed to get one more game in today.


He played:

AVM022 Destroyer with 15 pt gauntlet
IH102 Glen Talbot

I played:

Booster Gold
Supernova
Rip Hunter

Map: Airport

It started out with him turtling a bit near his starting area to turn the gauntlet a few times, while I moved Supernova out into position. He moved Glen up and went for the running shot on Supernova. He hits me and I roll for my super senses...6! woo, doged a bullet there. Now its my turn and I push Supernova for the Incap attack. I hit and send him to my starting area. Rip Hunter Outwits him and Booster charges him with a heavy object and getting his attack perplexed up from Supernova. Hit! But it put Destroyer on a 5 dmg with 10 attack psy blast click. He went for the hit and succeded. giving Booster a 7 attk and 2 dmg click. ugg, this was gonna be tough, since Destroyer only had invuln now I outwitted and tried to hit him with Rip. I managed to hit him for 2 dmg putting him on click 9. Heres where I got nervous, I perplexed up Boosters attack to an 8 so I only needed an 8 to hit. I rolled....HIT! KO! Supernova cleaned up Glen Talbot after that.

Played another match yesterday.

I ran

Booster Gold
Rip Hunter
Supernova

He played

Ziran the tester


Oh Boy, I knew that I was in for it here. He got the roll to go first and moved ziran up the map. I perplexed up attk with supernova and he went for the running shot incap and hit! Just the fact that I was able to sent a colossal figure to my starting area with Supernova was awesome. Booster picked up a heavy object and charged ziran. I needed a 9 to hit, got a 7, so i Prob controlled with rip hunter and...another 7. Crap, well then it was his turn and he decided to multi attk Booster. Two attks later booster was ko'ed and all I had was Supernova and Rip. I perplexed up dmg on supernova and went for the attk...and Hit! ok finally we have got some dmg against ziran. He rested next turn and i decided to press the attack and perplexed up dmg on supernova and pushed for the attack. I got it and hit him for 2 more clicks of dmg. Next turn he multi attacked again, first against Rip. He rolls, and gets a 4, ok so im still alive at this point, next attack on Supernova and he gets a 5. Great, I survived this round so I rest supernova and end the turn. His next turn he pushes to multi attack Rip Hunter. Both of his rolls miss. My turn again, I first attack with Supernova I roll...and get a 5 so I had Rip Hunter Prob Controll it and I got a 9! Now he only had toughness so Rip could Finally join the fight. Rip attks and hits him for a click of damage. He rested next turn and I attacked him again on mine. I hit him with Supernova and pushed with Rip to hit him for another click. He was now on his second to last click, and he decided to attack me again, he went for the multi attack against Rip and again missed both times! My turn and I rest with both of my figures. He rests Ziran on his next turn as well. Finally on my turn I hit him with Rip and again with Supernova for the Ko.

I got No ko's with Booster but I did think that it was cool that the booster gold team was able to Ko a ziran the tester.

Played a Quick game today,

I played the usual Booster, Rip, and Supernova team

He played

Deadshot
Darkstar
Mass Master
The Bat-Man

Map: Madripoor

It started out by him moving up into the hindering terrain and setting down smoke clouds with darkstar. I knew I couldnt Incap him while he was in stealth, so I just moved Supernova up into the hindering and perplexing up his defence. He Tk'ed his deadshot out and went for the RCE on Supernova and hit, I roll for my super senses and get a 5. He also moved Batman up within charging range. On my turn I move booster up and Rip up while keeping supernovas defence peplexed up. His turn he rests his deadshot and charges supernova with batman, he hits but i manage to roll my super senses again. Now his batman is out of stealth so i outwit his defence with Rip and perplex up attack on booster and charge. I miss but i have prob from Rip, I roll and miss again. I decided to Push Supernova and attack Batman, he hits and deals 3 clicks to Batman. On his turn he rests darkstar and goes for the RCE again with deadshot, he hits again on supernova and i manage to roll my super senses again. On my next turn I push booster to Ko batman following an attack from Rip. Supernova rested and it was his turn again. He started to psy blast with darkstar and managed to hit Supernova for a lot of damage putting him on his second to last click. He then went for the RCE again with deadshot and hit and with no super senses I was dead this time. On my next turn Booster shot at Darkstar and hit for 3 dmg, and Rip followed up for a 2 dmg shot. On his next turn he rests deadshot and Darkstar. I Pushed Booster to Ko darkstar and Rip Hunter rested. His next turn he hits booster with a 4 dmg RCE from deadshot, putting him on his second to last click. Rip attacks mass master who had been advancing this whole time and ko's him. now it was jsut deadshot left. But he was still in stealth, on his next turn he rested deadshot and as I moved Booster and Rip up he RCE'd Booster Killing him. Rip was still down the map so after I finally got him up near deadshot he got RCE'd and Ko'ed.

Played a quick game the other day

Map: Gotham Bank

This was a three person game with a couple of my friends, I went second and went for the usual supernova running shot incap. surprisingly i was sucessful against my opponents metallo. I placed Metallo next to Rip and went for the hit, surprisingly again with a 9 attk, booster hit Metallo after Rip outwitted. on my opponents next turn he tried to smush Booster to prevent me from getting the ko with him. He hits his first attack but i prob with Rip and he misses! next turn I manage to get through the shape change with Booster and Ko Metallo. After that I was pretty heavily damaged by my opponents other figures and Booster and Supernova ended up getting Ko'ed. but the last figure standing in this game was Rip who phased around the map to outwit and shoot people.
