Man...! Me, I've wanted to play a "My Favorite Martian" team of all Martians for a while. Had finally got them all and was only waiting for a big enough game to get them all on. Now...darn it.

Shape Change as a trait would make it immune to Outwit. That's likely the only reason they went full dial of the power rather than the Trait route.

Even if I don't manage to score one at Gen Con, I will probably make whatever trades I need to for one of these. Between the economical dial and the keywords (including the ATA options), I would play the heck out of this piece.

Color me unimpressed. I know it's a rookie and only 140 points, but I feel like the lack of opening move-and-attack, measly 6 range, and mediocre defense numbers make him a bit too weak. He'll be hard to kill, but not too hard to base and shut down.

Now that's a prime candidate for full-gauntlage. It would make him more of a vet-type than a rookie. Not broken, but very, very playable.

A low cost, very playable dial for J'onn with the JLI keyword. Not going to GenCon. Added to my Sad Panda list:

I'm counting on lots of apathy towards this figure. I have 3 friends that also want him.

His trait should be that EE deals him penetrating damage.

Eh he's not bad. Nothing I care much about if I ever have or not. Doesn't look like Gencon is going to happen for me this year, as I won't be in Indiana by then, and prob can't make it back. But next year!

I'm pretty happy that none of the con LE's are anything I really want so far. Wouldn't mind Dr Fate, but that's about it.

Too bad he's not out until GenCon. Lamppost Bats and Question from AA really want to team up with him for help on a case...

At first look, I really wanted him. I then came back to earth (pun intended, lame or not) and realized that if I must choose a Con-Ex, it's Punisher.

The Martian Manhunter is good here, that's true, and if he didn't have JLI keyword it would be pretty much an easy pass for me, but it's tough to build around the BatB Cookie Hunter in under 500 points, and this one would remedy that and the one other issue the Cookie Hunter has (one keyword.)

Between the Brightest Day version and the BatB version of the guy, I'm satisfied.

Now about getting me that Punisher...

Both DC Con exclusive heroclixs are awesome. Martian Manhunter is not as awesome as Dr. Fate but he's nice. Way more interesting like Apocalpyse and that lame punisher.
