View Poll Results: Which DC or Marvel Carded Figure Set's Sculpts did you like the best.
What Carded Figure Set Sculpt's do you like the best.
Due to people complaining that I left off the GSX Set, and the fact that I have decided to change the Poll, by leaving off pre-Card Sets, and adding a new parameter, I am re-posting this Poll.
Please vote for which Heroclix DC or Marvel regular Carded Figure Set's non-Colossal Sculpts (not characters), had more preferred sculpts in it, than all other Sets sculpts, from a size (not scale); design; and detail, stanpoint. Also, post a comment indicating what your second choice would have been.
My Vote is for Secret Invasion, since I feel the larger size and hand sculpted detail of many figures in that Set, such as SI Doom; The Thing; Iron Man; Nick Fury; Skulls; Punisher, etc., was what attracted me to the game. My second vote, would be Arkham Asylum, simply because all the sculpts were of a larger size, including generics, and I loved Wonder Woman and Frankenstein. However, I love the size of CR Earth 2 Superman; Green Arrow; and Nightwing.
Your welcome. I did not vote for it as my #1, since, outside of the awesome designed Colossals, the rest of the Set's figures, with the exception of Juggernaut and maybe Magneto, were too small for my liking, however these two, as well as, Phoenix; Storm; Predator X; Vulcan; Wolverine; Blob; Pyro; and Mysique, may make it the best or second best Set with the most well designed non-colossal sculpts. The size of the Colossal figures was perfect. Overall, I would rank GSX 3rd, behind SI and AA, for design, mainly due to the fact that they had more larger size sculpts, which were also well designed and painted well, with CR a close 4th.
Then the poll isn't unbiased. Which defeats the whole point of a poll.
Your argument for leaving those sets off makes no sense in any way, shape, or form.
The Poll is not to see what Set of all Carded Figure sets people liked the sculpts in the most, but rather, which of those listed. Therefore, it is not biased. If I close and re-open another, the Moderators may not approve.

The purpose was asking "What carded Figure Set Sculpts Do You Like The Best"....
Not "What sets that I deem worthy do you like the best"....
So leaving off numerous sets just because you don't personally like them defeats the entire purpose of having a poll asking that question.

The purpose of the Poll is what the person who Posts the Poll say's it is. If you do not like the Poll, do not vote, and please do not comment. I will ask a Moderator if they mind me re-posting, but I really do not like the small sized Thanos; Silver Surfer; Thing; and Doom, and all other figures, in the GG Set, and felt the IH and AVM Sets, were too small in size overall, and I am more interested to see what people vote for, not counting those Sets.
I think it was a good idea to narrow the poll down to carded sets since Fantastic Forces is still the reigning champ for quality sculpts. I doubt there will ever be better. I had my hopes up with the digital sculpting techniques but when compared to current sets the details are better and well as the paint. Today's sculpts in general are horrible when compared to FF. I mean figures that are way out of portion and boring standing around poses. These should not exist considering the ease of scaling and manipulation in the digital medium. The hard part is making the character but scaling and limb manipulation literally only takes a few minutes (pick up a copy of DAZ 3D for free and play with the free figures). Current sets are still pretty good but we've been spoiled by FF. A once in a lifetime set.
