Ok so in life if something happens and is witnessed by any one other than yourself is that fact or opinion. "facts" are things you can prove "opinions" are subjective. "The fact is" the games that i have played in with CT and against him, unless as i have stated a few times your dice hate you then CT player always won. By the time any other relevant opposing clix got to the fight the 2 high point characters were already dead or useless. "in fact" lol he is the most broken single based clix in the game. So much so in the spirit of fairness (hmm i talked about this in another thread somewhere oh well) after about 6 games the Judges at my venue were tired of the abuse so they baned him. Other than colossals i have never seen that before.
Im not really sure how or why you bothered to put the stranger as someone that matters but ok. Yes we finally agree on something when you say CT vs CT would be something that works but the stranger? why in the world do you feel that way. I have seen him fielded as well and there is nothing that he does that would suggest that he would even matter.
Ok @Rcat, you already proved your lack of knowledge by not playing the figs and then trying to make points here as though you have. You also are a rude person to try and tell someone what they did or did not say when it is clearly in black and white for all to see, OMG! I said that I stated he was the most broken single based click in the game. Where in that did you get me saying in my first post? It is in the post above that i qouted for you, underlined, bolded and put in italics. I told you reading is fundametal. This has been fun but you are officially fired from this conversation for lack of knowledge and reading comprehension.
I didn't say it would be easy, but it is possible. Of course, having a 137 point difference makes a 1-on-1 scenario ridiculous.
Also, I don't have the imagination to make a team to go up against your team, so I apologize.
It's the mustache/beard combo, baby. Galactus has been around since the beginning of the universe, and can't grow facial hair, I assume.
(Please feel free to prove me wrong on that. I would LOVE to see Galactus with a fumanchu or something.)
Yeah, sorry, but you never said that in your first post. I looked it over, and you never make the "single base" distinction in your first post. I think it's cute that you're not bothering to actually re-read your old posts in this topic before making claims. Just like when you said that your opinion was based on research that I would've noticed if I had read your old post "properly", even though your post said nothing of the sort. Unfortunately, at this point it seems like you're willing to look less intelligent to not be proven wrong, so the debate has lost all of its novelty, in my opinion.
Also, once again, I have never made the claim that Chase Thanos' powers weren't broken. I would agree that it is just by theorizing. I just don't think he's the most broken figure to date. Considering that he apparently needs a posse to beat people up after he does his big pull move, he's not the most broken in 300-500 point games, where he takes up 70% or more of your build.
(Hey, wait a second, you just said that his broken power is useless in the lower point games. How the BLEEP do you call him the most broken figure to date if the biggest part of his brokenness is worthless until you get to a certain point value, especially when the big tournaments don't have point values that high in their main events? )
600 points and higher, you've then got a threat like Ziran, who says, "You have no Defend", nicks Chanos for a click or two, and BAM, no broken pull power. Yeah, you say "colossals don't count" now, but you didn't when you first pulled out your fan-boner, which is why the argument first started.
Please, by all means, keep changing your argument, though. Just don't pretend that that was your initial argument IN THIS TOPIC. Otherwise, you're just adding more vehicles to a car wreck.
Also, I certainly hope you're all smiles when you're playing a broken figure just to prove that he's broken. It seems like playing a game just to prove you're right to other people might turn other people away from the game.
Anyway, I sincerely hope that we get a new reveal for this set soon. The topic has been greatly derailed, saved for a few mentions of Brainiac, and I would like to shove this argument by the wayside in favor of being impressed with new figures.
Man do you even read what you post and understand it? So busy trying to prove your points or defend them with no evidence is quite foolish. I know you dont really read and understand what other people write so i guess it adds up. Quote me saying his power is useless with out a team! Even on his own his is very potent. He can perplex his Defense to a 20 and if you have a higher attack than move swap your attack with your movement. opposing clix get first attack but are attacking a 20 defense. in a game alone most teams will try to balance out the squad so there is sill a very good chance the thanos player would still win. All you need is a 500 point game to get the peices around him to wreck other teams. it does not matter if he takes up 70% of a team with the right team around him. QFT!! I again said single based broken figure so why the hell do you keep insinsting on mentioning Colossals?!
Dang (kicking myself) You don't, by your own admission have any experience with him and for that matter much else seeing as how i gave you an opportunity to name someone to deal with him and all you came up with was the stranger? For once in all your post's finally answer the damn question of what other single based click before chaos war dropped is more broken that Chanos on their own....... Im waiting......
Ok...wow, Railot. Do you have some sort of weird view that prevents you from seeing posts after a certain date? Can you see the first post with Brainiac's stats? Could you be just looking at the notifications and assuming that the whole topic is contained in them? I mean, I really don't like assuming that people fail that bad at reading, or that they're just trolling, but I'm honestly starting to wonder which it is.

Individually no, in a high point game with a team...
That is your first post in this topic, made on 6/12/2012, which itself was a response to Nightwing-fan's post about Brainiac being the "anti-Chase Thanos". The post you quoted and underlined? That was your fourth post- fifth if you count the double post, which I'm pretty sure you edited- in this topic. It wasn't even close to your first post, and there's about a month's difference between them.
I underlined, for our benefit, your initial claim about Chase Thanos. Nowhere did you specify the base size; you only said that he was the most broken piece to date. I claimed that you had a fan-boner for him, since he certainly isn't, and then this whole ****fest started. Most of what you've done since then is try to claim things that were never mentioned in that first post, like all your experience and playtesting, trumpet the greatness of your plastic boyfriend, make poorly worded challenges, ignore people's responses to them- namely Lordbob's- and throw out insults.
That's all the further I'm arguing in this post. It's moved far beyond the discussion of the dial list for this set, and moved into childish bickering. I flat out refuse to answer any of your other challenges, because you've proven that you can't keep track of what you say, which means that I can't trust you to properly respond to what I say. If you genuinely can't see your older posts, ask a mod to help you figure out why. Otherwise, find someone else to argue with. It's been amusing, but I imagine that I already look bad enough arguing with you up to this point, and I'd like to have a better reputation than someone who gets into random fights and has issues with the Hulk.

Yeah we are pretty much done. As stated before I never said anything about my first post. You keep dwelling on that like its all that I have said. But as you were. Carry on my good man I tire of your lack of reading and comprehension so you win.

It's always fun trying to be the "bigger man" by throwing out one last insult weeks after your opponent's post, after you say you're done. . Have fun not knowing the difference between a fact and an opinion!
Lex Luthor looks pretty snazzy. It's good to see a powerful Luthor that doesn't have to wade through weak clicks. GL at least gets me excited for future figures with removable pieces. I just wish they would have that as a regular thing, rather than a set gimmick.

OMG.. I see.. I won't go back through it again but I also defined fact and opinion for you as well. As usual though you say what you want when you want. It is your right i suppose. I also see that it is you that can't let go with out a parting insult....to that I say good job "bigger man". You just did the same thing you claim that I did. Would have looked better for you to make me seem like an ### but as it turns out that has been your roll all along. If you feel you are right then prove it by not responding. Let go. It's ok...Ah but i'm sure you won't. I see you would rather have an "Opponent' As you put it, here on the realms than getting full knowledge of clix before you decide to troll, and leave a first comment that has nothing to do with the OP, quoting and commenting on something I said. Again good job. I retire as your "opponent" not because of any victory you think you have gained but because this is pointless to continue..
Yes, Lex Luthor looks very good. Nice stats and SPs and traits for not too bad a cost. I like the sculpt too.

For the record Your first post started this whole thing. So now that its over..It is over? Why do you have a reputation as someone that has issues with the Hulk? Is it the concept of the Hulk character in general or in his many apperances in clix form. (serious question).

I really find it funny that you're coming back here to tell me I should just let it go and not respond- thereby ignoring your own advice- especially when you could've done that after I commented on your fan-boner and spared us this whole argument. I'll admit that it's my fault for starting it, but don't try to pin all the blame on me, as you are just as responsible for it continuing. (I'll refrain from commenting on making you look like an ###.)
Providing your own definitions of words does not mean you understand what they actually mean. However, I'm not going to argue further on that. What I shall do is apologize for any and all missing of points that I have done in this conversation. I would argue that some of your posts have not been all that clear, and that I responded to them with the best of my knowledge, but I admit that I've likely been wrong in my responses and have misconstrued some points.
I still contend that Chase Thanos's status as the most broken single-base figure is still not a fact. Regardless of his brokenness in 500+ point games, he can't perform nearly that well in 300 point games, which would appear to be Wizkids' most-used point range for tournament games. He could still be very potent, especially with his attack power, but with no opening move/attack options, I don't think he can be considered the most broken in that format. Lacking that puts him at a large disadvantage against more maneuverable teams, especially since, at 300 points, he's the whole team.
That's all the further I shall go into this argument, at least at this point. I don't say this to act like I'm giving up as the "better man", but because I feel that my previous paragraph sufficiently counters your earlier statement of him being the most broken single base figure prior to Chaos War. You can change your statement, or act like my point doesn't matter, and we'll continue from there. I apologize for being an ### during the whole argument. If you'll man up to your own faults in this argument, then we can move on.
As for Hulk, I was rather annoyed with the #####ing in the past that we've yet to receive a definitive Hulk, which typically meant one that can beat up anybody or was over 160 points. This was not much of a problem, but when every other new reveal after the Hulk set had someone complaining about the lack of this Hulk in his own set, it got rather tiring. Seeing custom dials for this type of Hulk basically give him powers that made him immune to the other countermeasures in place to deal with other beatsticks, and only getting the justification of "he's the Hulk", didn't help matters.
I personally liked the Hulk set. Up until the Avengers movie, I have never really liked the Hulk.
