As reported on HCRealms.com by both American Dragon and UmiGame, WizKids has announce another video game franchise joining the HeroClix universe: Assassin's Creed!
So... Stealth, Shape Change, BCF, and Leap Climb? Maybe some Exploit Weakness and/or Incap?
How many Assassins Creed characters are there? I thought it was one (playable) guy...
Vulture: I'll drop you from the sky and watch you drop like a rag doll! Spider-Man: And this'll be when? After Ock rips me limb from limb? Or after Venom eats my brains? Oh, I almost forgot; he also has dibs on my spleen...
I predict Indy 2.0 with most of the 12 figures having B/C/Fs and Stealth. Some Leap/Climb, Combat Reflexes, Shape Change (Blending in with the crowd), and Exploit Weakness Scattered throughout with a few Specials for flavor.
Still, more brands and licenses added to Clix is a good things and I may be surprised by new innovations.
Oh, wait, was that sarcasm? How adorable! You really had me there!
But you do have a point. Would you like a dissertation, or some other sort of explanation? How flowery would you like the language to be? Want any references to scholarly sources? Anything I can do to bring my post into accordance with your lofty posting standards?

i've only played(not beaten) the first 2 and i've watched a friend play some of the others, but i can honestly say that there can definitely be alot of variety as far as characters go.
but on another note:
WHERE ARE MY DAMN BIOSHOCK CLIX!!

Reason: i typed "slot", not "alot" needed to fix it.
I imagine a new/unique mechanic to make them interesting, and I imagine dials similar to LotR in that everyone thought LotR would be Indy 2.0 but ended up surprising us.
I have never played AC, but these look pretty cool, and having them makes me hopeful for more cool video game properties.
Thankfully, experience indicates that these figures won't be Modern Age legal...
I am all for Heroclix expanding their brand. The more people they can bring into the hobby, the better off the company will be and hopefully the competition as well. But, I also hope they will not be modern age legal (just as some of the other sets like this).
I will probably actually pick at least a few of these up just as a fan of the games and to play in friendly, non-tourney games. But, personally I am a purist and I hope MA sticks to DC/Marvel... at least until another Indy set comes out.
This probably sounds like a broken record coming from yours truly, but It's how I feel when most of these sets came out. Did I get Halo?: Yep. Did I get SF?: Yep. Do I play them in MA tourneys?: Nope. And that's how I like it.
I am really excited though for some cool Stealthing/Shapechanging fiends. And I am really happy for the other fans of the AC games. Now if we can just get some God of War clix.
Alex Ross hates Kyle Rayner too. I hope the Death's head sculpt is hideous and his dial is just as bad.
Well so much for a Connor or Aveline. I hope they at least have inate stealth or blade/claws or shapechange as a traits.
This figs aren't very impressive. I hope tehy get some updates before October.
Video game releases work for me, I guess. I know next to nothing about the games. What kinds of generic keywords would be appropriate for these characters?
And why break the box up into two halves with different packaging? Two mini-sets within a mini-set? Want these figures from THIS game, buy only these boosters?
