What is a Micro Set
With all these previews of figures for Chaos Wars, I am very confused. I have recently begun collecting again and I see some say they are in the "Micro Set", while some are in the Gravity Feed, and some are regular set. What the heck is the difference in all of these? Where can I get each? Any and all help will be GREATLY appreciated.

A micro set is a set within a set. Kind of like the Avengers Movie that was release through mass market stores(i.e. Target). Then there is the hobby set, or CTD(counter top display), which is found in the comic shops/venue.

So for the Chaos Wars Micro Set. that will be at target? I am getting SICK of this. It's such a pain in the butt to finish a set now and very costly. I wish they would go back to 1 starter a year, and just 1 set every couple of months.

A gravity feed is simply a type of display in which you pull out a booster and another drops in its place. Hence gravity.

Most or even all gravity feeds are micro sets. Not all micro sets are gravity feeds. Some are simply counter top displays.

To date, all MASS MARKET ( Target, wall mart) micro sets have been based on movie licenses. Green lantern. Batman. Avm.

I think it is safe to say that Chaos War is not a target exclusive, and will not be found on Target shelves, or anywhere but hobby stores.

Save yourself the trouble, and gas, of going from store to store. You should be able to pick up a whole set for about 40.00. That is a very easy way of getting them, unless you have lots of time on your hand or know people that stock the shelves.

I probably would do that too. lol, a guy has th ewhole DKR target set he wants 50 for it. I don't care enough for that set to pay even the 30 it is. I got the figs from it I want except John Blake, but I am very excited for all of these Chaos Wars figs they are previewing.

It's not exactly the same thing. A Gravity feed is a particular kind of point of purchase display.

10-12 figure Micro sets have been released to us via two types of packaging:

Counter Top Display
Gravity Feed

Most mass marketers use a gravity feed.
Most game stores use a counter top display.

It's a semantics thing, and one that likely won't mean anything to you unless you run a store and need to figure out how much space these things take up.
