wolverine question
So I looked threw the units section and there isn't a single dial that does wolverine justice. I mean come on he should always have blades or a cool sp that represents the fact he always has his claws . His claws are also indestructible metal that can Pierce anything so why doesn't he always have exploit weakness? Also on the cow dial he has a 16 defense really? Wolverine is one of the most iconic super heroes and is yet to have one powerful piece made. Sure the xmen common was decent but can be killed so easily. .. so what's your thoughts

I thought Hugh Jackman played a pretty good Wolverine.

Try out the Incredible Hulk Wolverine. He's got starting exploit weakness then goes into blades.

Ya I know about the hulk wolverine but he's still not power full no charge he has that stupid lunge but that's not wolverine . If any hero should have exploit and blades it shouldbe wolverine .. and he is crazy he never stops coming at you so why not flurry and full movement charge. The most expensive wolverine is 105 not counting the power cosmic one. Are you kidding me cap and batman always have higher point dials . And many other characters wolverine easily over powers in comics

Ok fanb...rother ... take a breath - when you look, Cap usually is WAY UNDER 105.

CHAOS WAR
001 Captain America 90

FAST FORCES: CHAOS WAR
003 Captain America 75

AVENGERS MOVIE
001 Captain America 75
018 Captain America 90
028 Captain America 70
204 Captain America 100

CAPTAIN AMERICA
001 Captain America 89
031 Steve Rogers 99
040 Captain America 83
060 Captain America 68
205 Captain America 50

HAMMER OF THOR
040 Captain America 72

SECRET INVASION
019 Captain America 49

AVENGERS
001 Captain America 95

ARMOR WARS
079 Captain America 72
080 Captain America 90
081 Captain America 115

You have to go all the way back to V Armor Wars to find one above 100.

When you look at Batman, again, until recent sets there were very few figures over 100. The Batman movie set and JL52 have Bats over 100, so your comment is fair. But before that - the two Arkham chases, JL Alpha Batman from Justice League, EV Icons, V Legacy, Vampire Batman, V Hypertime.

So certainly more than Cap, but when you look at the number of Batman figures - it is a surprisingly small proportion.

Personally, I think a lot of the recent Wolverines do him Justice. WoS and GSX both are BCF/Regen heavy. Different modes in his career, but definitely playable. IH gives you team mate Wolverine who is bladesy and mean, and I actually disagree a lot with the comment that Lunge doesn't fit him - I think it very much fits how he was written, in particular in the 1980s. Now Chaos War is giving us a figure, that in my honest opinion, is undercosted for what he can do.

I say this as a lifelong Wolverine fan. There are a number of VERY representative dials of Logan. Chaos War will probably be the one I reach for at 90 points, big damage, survivability and a nifty healing trait.

PS: Wolverine has to Cap a couple of times (most recently in AvX no less http://www.newsarama.com/comics/avx-...-week-six.html)

Chaos war version is horrible. The healing trait is worse than gsx his defense value is super low and 3 damage is nothing with all the impervious and invulnerable ... his claws go threw anything why doesn't he start with exploit blades... all of the characters that get it and not the most well known blades guy around.. he should never be under 150 he takes on hulk wendingo sabertooth many others by himself.. old man Logan even killed hulk and she hulk

(Special) Continual Healing Factor: Once at the beginning of your turn, as a free action you may heal Wolverine of 1 damage.

(Damage) Reluctant but Brutal Leader: Wolverine can use Leadership. If Wolverine succeeds in his Leadership roll, you may also remove an action token from an adjacent friendly character with the X-Force keyword, then deal that character 1 unavoidable damage.

Wolverine has a 16D because he doesn't care if he get's hit he typically regenerates whatever injuries are inflicted

His claw are not Indestructible heat them up to a high enough temperature and they'll melt like any other metal The Ultimate Nullifier will destroy them as well.

Wolverine doesn't use his claws all the time sometimes he just punches people unconscious hence the non exploit clicks

Okay - so Old Man Logan killed Hulk. An elseworlds story written specifically to highlight Logan.

I actually cannot think of a single time that Wolverine has actually beaten the Hulk one on one. Even in his first appearance in IH 188, Wolverine (at best) reached a stalemate with Hulk.

In the end - the game has to be balanced. Even if balanced (which you really aren't asking for if he has to have EW and BCF and high defense, and super healing), I have trouble seeing Wolverine ramped up to 150. Same reasons I have trouble seeing Spider-man (another fav of mine) at 150.

A very good analysis of Logan.

At least they come out with a new Wolvy almost every set, and while none have been to your liking of comic accuracy they have been pretty decent for the most part and playable.

I am waiting for a Magneto trait that allows him to automatically control Wolvy whenever he is within range as if he was using Mind Control.

Well Logan killed the hulk and in the hulk comic it was even and wolverine damaged hulk more than anyone .. he should always have ew and blades that's wolverine .. its like magneto not having tk or hulk with no super strength..his blades go threw anything even the hulk. And the dial shown above has 2 damage which means batman's punch hurts more than his claws

Is this one of those conversations that goes like this.

I think X should have Y because he/she did Z in this comic?

Heard it all before!
