The rookie is nice for its points, but the 114 is pure fun. I like options. Do you stick with Penetrating & sharpshooter or do you go for damage reducers? That's a great choice to have. I don't think she's iconic enough to be part of the 10th anniversary, but this is a definitave Emma dial.
I just hope Spider-Man is the definitive one. That's my #1 want in all of Heroclix.

No, she has a battlefield upgrade mechanic of sorts.

For the 014, can Emma get to the Impervious clicks if played at 114 points?

Technically, she's a 6 click dial that allows you the option to switch over to a different power set by click 3. If you choose her "diamond form," then you're stuck on clicks 8-11 for the remainder of the game (as she can't heal onto a KO slot).

Emma #014 is 114 points, period. This sets a precedent for characters whose replacement has a higher point cost.

If you're referring to promoting #008 to #014, and being able to aspect the secondary aspect of her dial, the answer is yes. However, #008 would have to be promoted to #014 while on click 3, or on clicks 1-2 and push onto click 3. If #008 is promoted while on click 4-6, she needs to heal onto click 3 to access Impervious.

1: The Mutations version is now definitely obsolete.

2: It's good to have a White Queen that you can play as part of a team, but the powerful trait takes away from the overall power of the dial, I think. I can't imagine paying 62 points for that dial; she has no team ability and dial is weak compared to other new figures. However, if this is an indication that power creep is being reeled in, I support it.

Yes. When you get to her 3rd click you have to make a choice to go for an offensive ranged tactic using her mental powers or switching to a more defensive close combat plan using her diamond form for the rest of the game but you can't use both.

Agreed they could have done a walking then chair version of Professor X instead. With rumors of the next Marvel set being X themed she could have waited, that being said she is awsome.

Are we sure that she can't heal from click eight back to clicks one or two? Is there a precedent for this? It would seem to make sense that she could, but perhaps game balance dictated that she would be stuck in diamond form once you made that choice.

Wow Emma's fig is really hot and sexy. She's really my favorite girl in the Marvel Universe!

I like the choice on the Emma Frost version but I'm happy with her GSX version. This character inclusion does little to make me want the set.

So far World Breaker Hulk is the only one I sort of want and I sure don't need another Hulk although I do like that he's a way serious Hulk.
