Cherry picking chaos war?
Just wondering how it's worked out for you guys that have weighed your packs?
I mean all the expensive figures are duos or heavy (except sentroid)
Have you guys done it and how did it work out?

I hate cherry pickers.

That being said: I have done it three times. Uatu/Dormammu, Devil Dinosaur & Moonboy and M.O.D.O.K..

Sinister is clearly heavier than other figures. As is regular Void. Definitely a weight difference there. It's easier to pick out. Not "despicable." Just an observation.

Funny you should mention this; earlier today, I was at my local venue when I decided to buy a Chaos War booster to see if I could pull anything good. I felt the weight of several packs trying to find Mr. Sinister (since many here on the Realms have posted that his sculpt makes the pack heavy). I picked one with some heft to it, payed and opened the pack at the counter. The employee who rung me up made a comment about how I'd probably pull Avengers Prime and, lo and behold, when I opened the flap, I spotted a gold base and large lightning bolts! I couldn't believe my insane luck!! I try to find a super rare and I pull the most sought-after chase figure in the set!

I don't know about most sought after, I would give that to void/sentry

Ehh. Six one way, half dozen the other. Avengers Prime will have more value for a while in the early boom/bust phase, but Sentry/Void will catch up due to playability.

Well I think its because all of the rare figures have some weight to them maybe it's cuz they're duo or because the sculpt is big. But at my venue everyone does it and nobody says anything. personally I didn't care but when I did do it for GG I ended up with a crappy pack that was heavy for the blood brother and annihilation seeker. But it seems to me heavy = something good in chaos war.
Cherry picking isn't bad when all you do is weigh the packs but when you open the boosters to see what's in them is sad(avengers movie clix from target)

I noticed this on the brick that I ordered that had Sinister and Chaos King in it. If you push down a little along the box you can feel the top of the tank/head of those two pieces since they stand taller than everybody else and are pretty thick as well. Might be able to do this for Avengers Prime also, not sure though since I did not pull him.

By squeezing the box I found one of the figures was a dual based duo I knew this because it was upside down. Being upside down makes dual base duos easy to discern well I open the booster and sure enough it was Avengers Prime.

Chase duos are at the top of the pack and tall super rares are on the bottom.

I'm so happy that buying packs based on weight is back in style. Hulk-set was terrible for this and GG didn't really have a huge weight difference.

I think it would be interesting to go for the lightest weight pack and see if you could pull Ant-Man and Wasp.
