Looking at the pics from SDCC and the promotional images on the front page right now, the vehicles look a little small for Super Booster figs (all except the bug, of course). When you see the mockup of them on their bases this really comes into perspective. It looks like they will be on 2x4 bases rather than the 3x5 bases of the GG colossals. Does anyone else think they look like that?

Reason: Sizing
Wolverine and the X-men is a great opportunity to finish off the X-Force team.
Don't know why they just go ahead and put them on a single base like they did with Star Trek Tatics. I mean if the Enterprise can be on a single base, then so can the Batmobile and the Batmobile should be the size of Antman from the Chaos Wars set at least.

I have absolutely no clue what the point of vehicles in the game is?
I know we dont know yet, but can someone please give me an idea of A.) How they will fit in to the game? B.) Practically of it being in the game? C.) Is it just going to be transporter cheese?
Really not excited for these and they are going to jack the prices of bricks/cases up based on GG and CW.
Well, they had mentioned that the super boosters were going to be GSX-style, not GG-style.
GSX ones were a LOT smaller, since all of the colossals were only 2x2.
that suddenly makes more sense. I had been wondering about that because both sets had the eight/one split per brick. And with the exception of Uatu/Dormammu they all contained one fig. Now that I know it's talking about size, I think it makes it all the more clear.
I do wish they would go with the initial idea when GSX was announced of a super booster containing multiple figs that could be put into an awesome game in and of itself. Simply having a colossal in there feels like a waste of an opportunity. Imagine if it came with a colossal, a pre-assembled team (like Batman, Nightwing, and Batgirl ) on one of those triple trays a la the AVM team packs, and a map. Then you'd have everything you need for an amazing game. It's totally doable.

this would just seem like a sealed fast forces pack, which they would be charging more at an msrp slightly higher, and a blind booster pull none the less.
My hope is that the vehicles will have kinda meh dials unless you take the character associated with the vehicle (Batman for the Batmobile, Wonder Woman for the Invisible Jet, ect.). This could be represented by a special trait that only activates when the associated character is nearby to the vehicle.

Or the exact opposite effect if Henchman #3 is near by. LOL
Honeslty, they are vehicles, could they be anything other than transport? Is the invisible jet going to get to do fly overs spraying bullets and dropping napalm all over for an action?

I believe the recent solicitation text or article specifically mentioned the vehicles were capable of being used as both piloted and unpiloted, so you may get your wish.

God, I hope so! Even better yet is if they have little buttons on them that would release spring-loaded missiles or something. No attack roll needed! If you hit the other fig with the missile, you hit!
What would be nice is on the vehicle base you can place a standard () single base figure. That figure can be use as the driver or pilot of the vehicle.
Just looked at the SDCC pics, and it seems like the cars and tank would be on a 2x4 base, just comparing them to the figures around them.
But, the Beetle is huge in comparison. Not sure how they would mesh those together, unless the boosters are all oversized but that would just be weird.
I guess the 'Prototype' for the beetle could be out of scale. If it is not, it will be the world's easiest cherry pick.
I guess it is possible too, that the smaller vehicles could come two to a pack.
