So it's boiling down to either play the gauntlet or play the gauntlet counter (Iron Man)? I guess I don't see how making a piece like this is a good option. Trade one meta for a different meta? How about just fix the damn gauntlet?

Sadly no Set Releases on the 15th of August I believe. Gencon is 16-19 and set needs to be out 1-2 weeks before it is Modern Age Legal I believe, but feel free to correct me if I am Mistaken.

nah i think pulse wave would win. pulse wave pretty much beats everything unless the power SPECIFICALLY says it ignores pulse wave (Firestar is the only character that i can think of)

even if said PW-er is currently holding a gauntlet, Pulse Wave would effectively turn off/ignore Iron Man's trait during the attack, would it not?

1-2 weeks? are you sure? i thought once something is OFFICIALLY released, it is considered legal and modern age?

1.2.7.1 WizKids Sponsored Tournaments: HeroClix game elements are not legal in a Constructed Event until one (1) week after the release date.

Not only is that modern sculpt fantastic, but the 125 point level version of him, complete with resource-busting trait, is a great value. Getting another version of Iron Man, I'm glad this one justifies his inclusion.

Digging the Modern Iron Man. Very nice, uber dial and a Gauntlet Silver Bullet, kinda.

I can live without the old school one, since he's an Uncommon (which is like a Rare since this is a single-booster set with CUR).

CarlosMucha: that is like be running in a Olimpic race competition just one step to get the gold and then a Giant children place a mirror in your side and you discover what you are really a hamster over a whell and the gold is just a slice of chess.

wow so it says when he woud take damage, so does that mean he gets to roll for impervious first?.. than if he misses imperv and is gonna take damage he can than roll the d6 and on a 4-6 he will take no damage at all?
