I'm just brainstorming here, but I have this novel idea. Wizkids could hire somebody, we'll call him a "rep". This person's job would be to communicate with the customers and retailers, maybe thru a webpage if such technology exists. Just to coin a term, we'll call this communication concept "marketing".
Now if only this "marketing representative" position existed, we could maybe help grow the hobby correctly at a venue level.
We will be Booth #1231 at Gen Con. Please come by, say "Hi!" and perhaps try a demo or two!
We will have Giant-Mans/Giant-Men (yes, more than what was available at SDCC) as well as a quantity of our board game product available for sale at the booth.
As HeroClix will most likely be well represented at the show by our retail partners and the tournament hall, we will abstain from selling HeroClix at the booth (with the exception of the aforementioned Giant-Man of course).
Whats your point? Dosent make it any less annoying when a set thats already been pushed back gets pushed back again!
My point is that if making a thread about it all the time on here doesnt fix it, then maybe it should be posted, mailed, phoned in to Wiz-Kids directly?

Nah. That costs money. If they spend more cash on something else then all figures in all sets will have the same sculpt.

Based on WK's track record, it's not the least bit unlikely that the Anniversary sets were pushed back.
However, this is based on hearsay. I think before we get the pitchforks, we should check with storeowners for their shipping info. If anyone knows, it's the venue.
But, just in case... [b]*polishes pitchfork*[/i] I HATE DELAYS!
It's unprofessional of WK to constantly delay every other product they release. They need to reevaluate the timetables they use and consider adding two weeks to everything from the get-go.
And communicate, of course.
WK! Do push-ups!
This. Just because something happens all the time doesnt make it ok. It's embarrassing that we now have multiple delays for a single product just because Wizkids cant be realistic with their time table. Yes its only a game, but Wizkids is a business regardless of their product and they should still practice some kind of professionalism. I'm especially irritated because i was hoping to play 10th anniversary pieces at Gencon this year.

Last time they did that, we got Tuttle.
That is all.

Unsure how this affects one "budget". If anything, for some of us debating on buying a lot or not, an extra month of not buying clix will loosen up some restrictions. That and even if you were to budget, the money is still allocated for a certain purchase, the difference is that purchase is delayed slightly.
