But since it's sub theme we'll get only ONE of them
I get that people are upset about Chaos War still (Pet Avengers got robbed, that's true) but with the Batman set we already know sub-themes are back to normal.
Two Outsiders confirmed, three or four Batman Inc confirmed, and five WildC.A.T.s confirmed. I think we can let the "subtheme = one" thing go now.
I know its been brought up before, but a single figure set with over 40 characters seems a bit much to me. You get a CTD and still wont even have half a set most likely (assuming the distribution is like it is now where you will get doubles) so a case would be needed and at approx. $140 (MSRP of 2 CTD $70) for 48 figures, when a regular 5 figure booster case can go for about $170 and you get around 100 figures. Seems like singles are going to be the way to go .... especially with how prices have dipped for figs on the secondary market. Love to support stored, but I gotta look out for myself.
Maybe only get a brick of each 5 figure set and a mini brick ... instead of always getting 2 cases of each 5 figure set and a CTD of all single sets like I do now. I guess just scale back and still show support.
Its safe to say that the 5 figure Batman set in Nov. is probably going to be my last big blind booster purchase.
Kinda silly, IMO, to release Batman and then Batman S.O.G. within a few months of each other. Good marketing on their part but still seems unnecessary to me.
You know what I hate? Indian givers... no, I take that back.

:sigh:
You know why it keeps being brought up? Misinformation.
Can you name even 1 WK released set that was a single figure only set of 40+ figures? (and no you don't get to count Target rleases or GF or FF to add to it. Just the set)
There haven't been any.
Star Trek Tactics: 28 figs Street Fighter: 23 figs + 4 chases LotR: 21 figs +3 chases Dark Knight: 29 figs
B:SoG is a single figure and team pack set........just like AVM.
1.5 CTDs was the amount to get the right # of Rares and Team packs for AVM (not taking account the chases that sometimes took up a Rare spot).
If you found the AVM base set hard to collect feel free to bring it up but it seemed to have been easier to get than most single figure sets and I figure that's in part because of the Team Packs.
It is almost upon us! Are you prepared for the Quarmageddon?
And if the WildC.A.T.S. fill out a team pack, that leaves room for another "never before clixed team" like the previously mentioned Gen 13 and/or Stormwatch. Maybe even Team 7 as they're the newest one of the former Wildstorm properties to be getting an upcoming book in the Nu52. I'd love to get a Deathblow figure.
I would think it would be a while before we get Team 7. B:SoG was announced months before the Team 7 book was, which means the set list was likely set before anything was known about the book. While it was a former Wildstorm property, the nu Team 7 is an entirely different team, which means clix designers wouldn't have a lot of material to draw from to design dials (not that that's stopped them before).
I suspect we will get nu Team 7 eventually, but not for a while. I would be surprised if we even get the keyword on known members that are confirmed in Batman, like Grifter.
As of the announcement, WildC.A.T.s have not been clixed before.
Since Batman has not yet been released, this is still a true statement.

I'm sorry if this grinds your gears, but frankly it's the inherent issue with folk seeing images (say of presentations they are not present for) without the spoken context that goes with them.
Regardless, I take time to come in, hopefully clarify some points and get grief? Hardly worth the time no?

Is that a slight hint as to the chase theory going around!?
