Today we continue our previews of DC HeroClix: 10th Anniversary with one of Gotham City’s most popular and prominent caped crusaders, Barbra Gordon, the Batgirl!
Yeah, there's an error on Batgirl's card. It's supposed to be she gets a promotion token when she IS hit, not when she hits.
Oh, wait, someone made that joke already?
Also, it feels a little late in the game to be diversifying the Gotham City keyword, but eh. They did it for bad guys [twice over], I guess they gotta do it for good guys now, too. And I like that they saw the flaws in Prof. X and tightened the belt with this version of it.
Man, I wish they had the Batman Family keyword made before this figure. Is it too late for an errata for older figures?
I run HeroClix tournaments every 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month at The Realm Games and Comics in Brea, California. The format of each tournament will be posted here.
Our Fear Itself prizing for The Realm will include the 2012 Punisher Con LE, Giant-Man Con LE, and Shuma Gorath Con LE.
Compared this Batgirl to the 41-point Batgirl she was based on. What a difference in stats!
And I was thinking the Oracle was a bit pricey at first, but then realized I usually spent around that much on Oracle + ICWO for my 400-point Birds of Prey/Gotham teams.
Too bad wizkids got smart and excluded "Gotham city" from oracles power. Her and joker coulda been boss

Or they could have just done things the easy way and used the "Batman Ally TA" instead of feeling the need to invent a brand new keyword that basically does the exact same thing (but also grants stealth on top of it)
Wouldn't have required an Errata to work with older figures that should otherwise be able to work with it, too.
