"Our eyes! We can't see our eyes!"
Uatu: And there's the bell! Hello everyone, this is Uatu and Bob, the Monitor, here bringing you a blow-by-blow of this epic rumble between all these various beings--
Bob, the Monitor: And some starships!
U: That's right, but they're in the fight just like all the rest. Really a remarkable sight.
B: OH! Look at that!
U: Yes, indeed, a flurry of activity below as several combatants take some early swipes, but none connect until we hear those famous words--
B: FLAME ON!
U: That's right, partner. The Human Torch heats up the USS Sutherland before their shields are raised and then unleashes his fire on the ship, making an early crippling blow.
B: Oh there's Nathaniel Summers following up and striking at the Sutherland with a gun that is certainly not compensating for something...
U: Right you are. But there's more action elsewhere on the field as the USS Venture fires phasers on the USS Pegasus provoking the Pegasus to fire back, hurting the smaller ship much more.
B: POW! Frost Warrior just brought that mace down HARD on Jinku, who stumbles and cannot answer back against the monstrous foe, and his bad luck doesn't end there as Storm brings down the lightning on the lava man. He is hurting out there, Uatu.
U: Oh and already we have a KO on the field as the USS Sutherland is... wait... Fandral scored the finishing blow with a sword!
B: Maybe the ship had six fingers on his left hand?
U: Could be, Bob. And looks like for his effort Mojo trips up Fandral, weakening the warrior and leaving him in need of a rest before he can get back in the game.
B: Zzzzap! says that Skrully Yellowjacket to Nathaniel Summers who looks much much worse for wear. That mental blast is clearly causing his techno-organic virus to require much more concentration now.
U: Sounds like that Ringwraith is choking...and it looks like the Klingons had something to do with it, weakening the monster enough that the Human Torch could add a little sizzle to those black robes.
B: Whatever those Klingons did, it mu--WHOA!
U: The Frost Giant did not wait, but instead CRUSHED Jinku and looks to be wincing from the exertion.
B: He went for the KO, but there might be consequences. We'll see what happens next.
U: Batman ties up Fandral to deliver a sold Bat-punch, while he continues to hide under a conspicuously placed bathtub.
B: I can't see him! It's like he becomes that tub!
U: That was a shriek as the Ringwraith was cut deep by the August General in Iron. A very tough hit that slapped the wraith right into Nick Fury, who is busy slapping King Shark with the butt of his gun before taking a decidedly defensive posture.
B: Seems like anything can happen here... and there it is! The Human Torch blasting out and hitting both Nathaniel Summers and Fandral, making both feel the burn.
U: And here's another big hit as Master Chief blasts a still reeling King Shark squarely in the fin-fists, dealing some serious damage.
B: What was I just saying about unexpected?! Nathaniel Summers getting awfully clever out there, grabbing the tub with what's left of his power and attempting to smack Fandral with it. Fandral dodged, but now Batman stands revealed in plain sight... and OH MY!
U: Storm just lights up Nathaniel Summers, leaving him KO'd on the field. And then the distraction looks to have left Fandral with an opening and he lands a hit on Batman! And Mojo follows that with a smack to Fandral! No one is safe for a even a moment!
B: There's just too much action!
U: Indeed, and Batman is on the receiving end again! This time Skrullojacket sends a blast ripping through the bat... and YES! the Human Torch capitalizes and scores a double-KO, frying up Fandral and Batman in one big blast, but that definitely took something out of him.
B: Ha ha hah! Oh man, and for the blooper reel, we've got Beta Ray Bill dropping his hammer on his own hoof. That is going to haunt him, no question.
U: That Frost Warrior is continuing to be a force out there, this time taking a quick step towards Storm and slapping her down with a strong blow. Storm quickly makes a run for a corner, hoping to recoup before another opponent can make a move.
B: Looks like Skullojacket doesn't want to see Human Torch rack up any more KO's and pulls out something that depowers the hero and just rips into the kid with a devastating blast... and Mojo is the one to take advantage this time, and delivers the KO hit to Human Torch.
U: That was a smart hit, and speaking of smart, Nick Fury lands another hit on King Shark, which, yes, it looks like Beta Ray Bill has recovered enough confidence and slams that hammer into King Shark's mouth for the KO. BUT he also takes a blast from Master Chief. That looked painful, Bob.
B: I missed it because across the field there's still a starship scuffle going on and the USS Pegasus is able to avoid a blast from the Venture and then returns fire successfully. The USS Venture definitely has some work ahead of it to try and recover.
U: Looks like just about everyone needed a moment to catch their breath and it's no wonder. Seven of the competitors have already been taken out... who will be next?
B: I don't know!
U: It was rhetorical, Monitor.
B: Oh. Fine. OH LOOK AT THAT! August General in Iron keeps on making his presence felt! This time a blow to the IKS Rotarran that was more devastating than we even thought the Great Ten member was capable of!
U: That was a rare shot indeed, and we see the Klingons make a clever choice to use their Graviton Beam on Master Chief, which slams him against that strange barrier and appears to have done some damage...but not too much as Master Chief sends another blast through Beta Ray Bill that drops him for a KO.
B: Looks like The Black Rider has finally decided to do something. He'd been just hiding and avoiding trouble for the most part, but he makes a big show of trying to cut into everyone around him. He makes Storm feel it, but the Frost Warrior dodges.
U: Elsewhere, the USS Venture makes it personal, or at least up close, with a big hit into the smaller ship. The Pegasus flees, but that turns out to make things worse as Mojo lands a hit, too.
B: How that tub of fat and weird manages to do anything is a puzzle to me, Tu-tu.
U: I told you not to call me that.
B: Yeah you did. Back to the action, looks like the Ringwraith wants to tussle with the Klingon ship, but the Rotarran again uses that Graviton blast to send the monster away before directing some attention to the August General, leaving him unable to charge and force to simply move.
U: And AGAIN we see the Skrullojacket land a major hit, this time Mojo is rocked by the blast. He looked bad before, but taking a beating is not helping.
B: Looks like the Black Rider doesn't want his prey to escape and makes the exertion to KO Storm in that corner. The Frost Warrior scoffs as Black Rider again cannot connect with his larger foe AND KA-RUNCH comes down that mace on the Black Rider.
U: That looked devastating. We are watching as several players have to recoup, but it looks like that created an opportunity and Master Chief took the shot, and BLAMMO, the IKS Rotarran explodes! And it looks like that may have messed with the USS Venture as their systems collapse and small explosion is seen onboard when they tried to take a shot at Mojo.
B: Looks to me like it ain't contagious as Frost Warrior again ignores its own health to KO the Black Rider and rid itself of another foe.
U: Mojo follows suit in disgusting fashion, destroying the USS Pegasus and pulling together the remains to repair his hideous form.
B: Skrullojacket doesn't like the look of Mojo getting anything together and unleashes another blast through Mojo, and while nearly everyone else takes a moment to compose themselves not everyone needed the break.
U: That's right. August General in Iron took the moment to tear through the Ringwraith for the KO and Skrullojacket finished what he started, KO'ing Mojo.
B: Six fighters remain at this point, one of them the crafty Nick Fury, seizing a rare chance to put a bullet into the leg of the Frost Warrior, who cannot find the spy in his midst. And now everyone needs a second...
U: But only a second it turns out as August General in Iron now cuts right through Master Chief's armor and that's enough for Nick Fury to turn around and plant one right in the helmet for Nick's first KO. And not a moment later Skrullojacket finishes off the Frost Warrior for his second KO!
B: And then there were four!
U: They're fighting to the final two and it looks like now there's going to be a bit of a dance between them. It's almost getting psychological out there, wouldn't you say, Bob?
B: I don't even know the meaning of the word!
U: Of course not. A lot of control being exerted out there from the shadows by Nick Fury, while Skrullojacket makes a few moves of his own against--wait, what's this?!
B: August General in Iron moves in to take on the USS Venture and gets a major hit for his trouble! The AGiI had been untouched to this point, and now he's got to be looking vulnerable to the group.
U: Most definitely. These remaining few want to survive this and it's going to take careful planning and... there it is: the USS Venture takes a hit from Skrullojacket which sets up August General for the KO. We are down to three!
B: And Nick Fury seems to be making an incredible effort. He is seeing right through the Skrull tricks and lands a hit on the Skrull, leaving it in a fist fight with the August General.
U: The General appears to be a tactician as well! He has moved to the far side, putting Skrullojacket between himself and Nick Fury's dead aim!
B: Skrullojacket lands a hit on the General though. It's going to come down to who can hold out!
U: No one can land a hit amidst many attempts until Skrullojacket lands another hit on the August General in Iron!
B: Surely he can't have much left!
U: It doesn't look good as the August General misses another attack against the Skrull... but... what's this?!
B: There it is!
U: Nick Fury sends a bullet right through the shape shifter, leaving himself and August General in Iron the last two standing after this crazy battle! This has been Uatu and Bob, the Monitor, bringing you the action. Join us next time!

Frost Warrior was KO'd by Skrull Yellowjacket.
Jerry_Damage will be graciously checking over all the votes cast in the initial thread and adding up the scores which will be posted on Thursday along with the next round's fighters and map setup. And a new wager to risk for more points!
And what are the points for? Why winning, of course! What might you win? Hey, I need to keep some secrets...aside from which figure is going to be the last figure standing as we battle from 100 to 1!
Please vote in this thread for who should move on from those KO'd. The highest vote-getter will move on to the finals for a chance at redemption and total victory!
I'm gonna vote for Mojo, as I'm shocked how much he was able to accomplish in this battle. I am also surprised he didn't attempt to mind control anyone.
Bring on... Guy Gardner: THE WARRIOR!
Hey I just based you, and this is crazy, but here's my crit miss. KO me maybe?
I also vote Mojo!
For the first 100-point standard figure ever to be printed (only the rookie dials of the Sinestro and Mark I Sentinel colossals predate him), he did really well for himself. He deserves a second chance.
Wow I forgot to vote but my picks fell early King Shark and last....so would not have scored anyway.....
Vote Skulljacket to advance....and how Mojo did anything is beyond me
