This week Steve and Gudda have a Gen-Con wrap up, talk about some of the new figures and talk about how to play the Chaos Wars LE's "The Future Foundation" figures as a team.

The Thor/Batman/Vlad figures where part of the Con in you Venue thing. Venues bought a fixed amount of product and got a handful of the con figures. I think there was also a Foom involved but I'm not sure.

You are correct and it makes sense now the more I think about it....the problem I have with it is trying to remember the timeframe of when all that happen...was at least 6 years ago I believe.

True, and my primary Venue STILL has some Batman and Thor figs left!?! The Johnny Thunders went quick, though...

Giganto teams for the win!!!

I used him @100 with the gauntlet and one Mole Man in a Kill and Keep last night. Ke did amazing!

Took home 9 figures!

Thats sounds like an awesome format can you give me all the details .. I have an extra Giganto I cant seem to trade away why not offer him up to the kill and keep gods.

I only had to be odd man out (1 joining a 3) battle royal twice. First game everything worked as it should be fair, fun times, no worries. Second time ran against a pair of 16 year olds that had collusion running to the Nth degree. They even signals back and fourth when to use prob. Can I even call a judge on something that ridiculous?? Oh well still a wicked time all around

I agree with minute 21 of the podcast, All I really wanted was Superman and Superman, not for value or resale, just cause my favourite caracter. Too much collusion and table politics lost me the click..shame! Still the best damn con I ever went to, even with Wizkid flaws

When I played at Gen-con they sat us down, said "No Teams" and immediately everyone would become super defensive over even being accused of being on a team. Even though it was very obvious when they started probbing each other, and never once targeting their friend. They should have just made it 1 or 2 LE's and had 1v1's

No one said that when we set down to play. I like the idea of 1 vs 1.

I really enjoyed my game with Steve @ GenCon. I lost, but when Catwoman knocked the LE Cable on his Hypersonic/impervious click it was all over. I would love to play Steve again, he is a great guy and was very generous in giving me some custom action tokens. He tried to offer me figures, but I felt like I would have been taking advantage of his generosity.

I hope Steve enjoyed our game, I know I had a blast.

I sure was a blast! I'd definitely be up for a rematch, although I thought you'd have had that game in the bag. Guess both our teams being mainly stealth didn't help much either. LOL!

The whole thing about Giant man was weighted towards the people who got there first. You were allowed like 6 of em, then went down to 3, then to 1 and sold out.

True. I was there every day and it seemed the supplies were more and more limited as the days went on, or there were just more attendees arriving early each day to purchase them.
