Mammomax

While we are getting the "I dunno how many'est" version of HULK, Spidey, Wolverine and Daredevil there are still oh so many more or less popular characters out there that are still waiting impatiently for their Heroclix debut.

Here comes...MAMMOMAX!

Mammomax first appeared in X-Men volume 2, issue #161. This was during the infamous era of Chuck Austen. As a mutant who's half man and half animal (keyword), he made his first appearance as a part of The Brotherhood (keyword), teaming with the likes of Exodus, Sabretooth, Juggernaut, Black Tom, Xorn, Avalanche and Nocturne. After the Brotherhood's defeat, Max spent a little while puttering around with some lesser-known mutants and Morlocks before his life was tragically cut short when he was fed to a Predator X.

Mammy's powers were fairly basic: All the strength and durability one would equate with large elephant, the sharp tusks to gouge opponents with and deadly acid he'd spit out. Because when we think of elephants... we think of spitting corrosive fluids.

Stampede! - Charge
Pachyderm Power - Super Strength
Ivory Tusks - Blades/Claws/Fangs
Acid Spit??? - Poison
Thick Hide - Invulnerability
Slightly Less Than Thick Hide - Toughness
Don't call me Elephant Man! - Battle Fury

Brotherhood TA

Let's see your ideas for this mutant monster's dial! Should be easy, this guy wouldn't be much more than a basic brick piece. Can't even see him costing more than a hundred points.

Marvel Unclixed will be back two weeks with another guest writer. Thanks to Dr. Morbius for letting me fill in.

I would be supportive of a Mammomax. BUT... not before they make Exodus! i mean come one, that character is a pretty prominent X-men Villain! If anything they should make Exodus first before Mammomax.

Not real familiar with the character, but a guy with an elephant head would make an awesome figure. Of course DC's Elephant Man demands equal time

Never read an issue of him. But his name is Mammomax. And he's a giant mutant elephantman.

What's not to like?

Kinda bummed he's dead though. Oh well. It's Marvel. Not an issue!

Even being a huge X-Men fan, I still don't ever care if this sad sack of a mutant is ever made as a Clix figure.

I would love for Mammomax and the rest of the Brotherhood team he was on to be made or remade. Black Tom as a tree, Exodus, Nocturne, Avalanche; All of them need to have a new clix.
can you tell im new at this?

I saw the preview of this article and thought, "No way he did that crazy elephant man that barely appeared in the brotherhood.". But you did. Kudos, sir, for spotlighting one of the more obscure characters of X-Men lore.

I was wondering where these unclixed articles had gone. Unfortunately, this choice is a foul ball. A Chuck Austen character? That's as bad as Liefeld's disasters.
I want these clixed: Doc Savage, Fu Manchu, Tarzan, The Shadow, The Green Hornet & Kato, Conan, Solomon Kane, The Phantom, King Kong, Killraven, Black Orchid, Manhunter (Paul Kirk), Xemnu the Titan, unclixed Kirby Fourth World characters, and Lilith, Daughter Of Dracula.

Sorry, technical difficulties stopped the Dr's last Marvel article, and I straight-up forgot mine last week. I will be doing a two-in-one next time as a result.
