Welcome back to another preview from the DC HeroClix: Batman set. Today we visit a hero who deduced the Caped Crusader’s secret identity and became his sidekick. Today’s preview then eventually struck out on his own and changed his identity to lead the latest version of the Teen Titans; we are pleased to present Tim Drake, Red Robin!
Ugh, momma bird should have pushed this one out of the nest.

es/d and only has toughness against range? i guess thats ok on a titans team... but with the bat family, eh. too much for a taxi. i might have thought differently if he started with running shot :/
BANG, pa-TING

He's a great short range attacker. Flight, carry, ESD + Toughness + possible Stealth. Perplex and Outwit to help the team and hurt the opposing team. 80pts is cheap, too!
I really want to like this dial. I mean, I do like this dial. But it doesn't feel like an experienced Tim Drake. It's the kind of dial I'd feel better about if I knew we were getting a stronger Tim dial in the set (Are we? We probably are, right?).
But when I look at it, it feels very much like an old school Teen Titans dial. The kind I would desperately try to get synergy out of while playing a Titans team with no higher than 10 attack and 3 damage (and just barely 3, at that). Back when every single version of that team had to use a Hawk, because... yeah.
What can I say? I was young and foolish back then.
If you pair him with A Bat Ally for life-support (Stealth) you may get to do a little something with him, but the low range (4!) and mild-mannered damage output are much bigger concerns. The digital scuplt and paint look OK, but the true test is what comes out of the booster. All in all, not a figure I'll reach for often (or at all), I like my Tim Drakes better as Nightwing.
I had real high hopes for him after the AA Tim Drake. He really should have some Combat Reflexes or at least upfront running shot, and what's with the no attack powers? I know they are making the utility belt, but now I have a feeling every single member of the Batman Family is gonna need one to truly feel like their comic book counter parts *lame* -_-
