Welcome back as we conclude our Blue & Gold week with the transport of choice for the Blue Beetle (as well as the largest vehicle in the DC HeroClix: Batman set, resting on a 3 x 6 base), The Bug!
This "choose a dial to click" nonsense is really, really confusing to me. Perhaps it will work better in practice?
For me, the more exciting bit is this:
"Thank you so much for joining us and be sure to check back next week as we take a look at a Gotham City heroine who has donned three different identities in her short career! Until then, have a great weekend and play some HeroClix!"
Stephanie Brown!?!!
I think Babs, Helena, and Cassandra all have had only two work-related identities...
I. Cannot. Wait.

how did this get hypersonic speed and not the jet? Beetle will be awesome in this (he gives it all stats plus 1) now you have a 10 attacker for 5 damage hypersonic speed, and it only costs a little more than half the army (bug included)
Were there only supposed to be (6) vehicles? This collector #V007. Hope it is not a "chase vehicle."
'Course, as this is the vehicle in which I am most interested (at least until I see The Haunted Tank ), I am sure it will be the hardest to find and cost the most on the secondary market....
EDIT: I just noticed the symbol on the Hazardous Environment dial. Golden Age, The Bug is going to have the Submerged Feat applied all the time!!

Sounds like it will allow The Bug to absorb 5-clicks (Blue Beetle dial) or 6-clicks (Hazardous Environment Dial) before The Bug even gets its paint scratched. Combined with Keep It Together, The Bug has the potential to be VERY survivalable, just make sure to apply no more than 4-clicks to the Blue Beetle dial.

Keep It together.... Immediately ater the resolution of a move action, you may heal one of The Bug's other dials of 1 damage.

It's basically a similar mechanic to the Testing and Herald Dials, just that you can spin them in place of taking damage. And obviously, unlike those dials, they have an end so you can't just spin them forever and be invincible.

Nope 7. GCPD Cop Car, Military Tank, Haunted Tank, Batmobile, Bat Jet, Invisible Jet, and the Bug.
I want this just because it is JLI. That is all I really need to know. Then factor in the epicness of it, slighly balanced by it be such a HUGE target that will almost always have a LoF drawn to it, and it makes me very happy.
Bug Piloted with SoG Blue Beetle + Booster Gold = 298! That makes me very happy indeed. That will probably become one of my go to 300 point MA teams.
Check out ATF! in Berlin NJ. Heroclix every Sunday! http://allthingsfun.net Number of characters Zombified thanks to Zuvembie: 16

Dragon, thanks for the information!! Looks like the "generic" cop cruiser and military tank will be the hard ones to find, at least in any quantity. I am starting to like this set more for the vehicles than for the characters thus far revealed!
As plagiarism is the most sincere form of flattery, I fully intend to steal your team!! Don't worry, though, I will cite my source in really small print WAY in the back!!

Fun for those who like this sort of thing, although all the extra dials and rules are a bit headache-inducing. Those complicated rules work best on scenario type colossi, if at all.
It does strike me that HSS might be less useful when it is attached to a 6x3 giant size figure (it looked 6x3 in pictures, at least). With that carry as you move around ability though, it seems like it will be fun to take for a joyride.

So if I have the Bug piloted by DC 10th's Blue Beetle ( the "early" version) am I right by saying that's 33 clicks for under 200 points, 11 (with the two extra dials taking damage) that are HSS and Impervious? That can't be right, tell me I'm missing something
