I'd like to go to a serious tourney at some point just to see how I actually stack up against people outside of my town. But there's so many house rules at both places in town that it would be difficult for me to not make several mistakes whilst building my team or thinking about the metagame.
Oh, and some of the house rules are kind of easy to exploit. For example, Non holding a Generator is a BAMF. As is Magneto when he hits you for 10 damage every turn.

Huh? You don't need house rules to use the Generator, just that the game is Golden Age.
When penetrating damage is masterminded on to another figures is it still penetrating to the figure that took the damage?
Yes, the damage retains its properties when masterminded.

Mastermind
When this character would be dealt damage, you may instead
choose to have all the damage be dealt to a single adjacent
friendly character with a point value less than this character's. Any
additional effects of the damage dealt (knock back, penetrating
damage, etc.) are applied to the character taking the damage.
Damage dealt by this power is not an attack.

#021 Ulik
Strongest of All Rock Trolls: Damage dealt to Ulik is reduced
to 1. This power cannot be countered or ignored.
Ulik's power is still reducing, so penetrating damage would still go through it.

#033 Blob
Layers of Extra Fat:Blob ignores all but 1 damage dealt to
him.
Blob, however, ignores damage, so he would only take 1 damage whether it's penetrating or not.
So they can still avoid the attack with impervious even is their attacker is using EW or PB? Basically giving them Super Senses?
Edit, nevermind, realized that you actually have to do damage before it people with Impervious can roll. Thanks for your help.
Impervious used to act like Super Senses+Invulnerability, but now instead of evading the attack damage is reduced to 0. Since PB/EW means damage can't be reduced, the roll doesn't do much (unless the roll triggers some of the examples mentioned)
Does Rip it Up give you an object only once per game or every time it would trigger. It seems broken if it was every time. I understand the "Rim" and how characters aren't adjacent bcuz of it, but what about if you have a figure on elevated and a figure several spaces away on normal terrain. Can they see each other? I think so but I'm not sure.

Rip It Up applies to your entire force. As long as they're not already holding an object, before a character on your force that can use Super Strength moves you give them a light object. Also remember, since feats, like powers, aren't optional you have to give the character a light object.

It depends where they are in relation to each other. If the character on elevated is on the rim and the grounded character is within direct diagonals of that elevated square, they could draw line of fire to each other. If the character on elevated is in the middle of elevated terrain, not on a rim, it doesn't matter how far away from the elevated terrain the grounded character (assuming said character isn't a giant or colossal) is, they cannot draw line of fire.

Technically speaking, you are correct that there really is no way to not give the figure the object. That said, the intention definitely is such that it should be optional.
