Welcome back as we preview another figure from the upcoming DC HeroClix: Teen Titans set! As recently previewed, team bases are a cornerstone of this set, and the new mechanic was introduced in our inaugural Team Base article. Today we are going to look at another Team Base, this time a group of Titans less intent on helping people, lead by the assassin Deathstroke. We are pleased to present the Titans: Villains for Hire!

Super stoked for this dial! With a new Osiris, perhaps we may see a new Isis in the set?

I want this base . Its the sickest base ever. An assassins base. I am so happy to finaly see new chesire which i hope her switch better upgraded in contrast to the old hypertime chesire. I just wish you guys would of made her wearing her chesire cat mask like the one in the show young justice

I do like the sculpt of the base tho. and I see a Dragon. Must get :D

Initially I thought team bases were a horrible concept. This changed my mind.


I will now purchase a brick of TT

This team (not the team dial, but the individual dials) is my #1 want from this set. It's not the Titans East like I was hoping, but it's still a Deathstroke-led team, and I'll take it!

Kinda sucks that they didn't tell us which individual characters come in the SB with the team base though. Oh well.

Deathstroke has been getting a lot of love recently.

Looks like I'll be buying some titans super boosters. I was going to just try and trade my Ziran for an outlaws base, but this thing is awesome. I loved this series. Sad there is no Roy on the base though. I'm thinking Cheshire and Tattooed man will be in the regular boosters. We have a couple modern aged Deathstroke and Osiris and the only theme Cinder goes with is this base. I'm not sure why they didn't get the assassin keyword though. That would have been nice. I know people are sad that they killed Ryan, but he's back in the new JLA now and Ray is just a lab tech in a canceled book, so don't hold that against them.

So, for 200 points I can pick an opposing character, move 10, then do a running shot on said character with an AV of 12 with 5 damage from penetrating/psychic blast? Then probably wild card mystics (with the 100 points left over if its a 300 point event)? Then do it again next round but instead simply do two attacks?

And then if (small if) I KO said opposing character, which more than likely is my opponents tent pole and most expensive dial in regards to points I get:

Double points!?!?

Wow, seems like nothing but positive comments so far about this, which is a change from reveals before from this set which seemed to be a lot of grousing. Guess people just need some villain love to change their minds.

Personally, I'm diggin it, looking forward to another version of deathstroke that will have some multipoint options to fit him on teams. Booyah!

They're going to reveal the ones that come in the individual boosters on Wednesday and the ones included with the base on Friday.

I wonder if they're going to go with a theme and include prime versions of at least 1 team member on a team base.
