Smile Firelord, "much ado about nothing"
Seems funny all this talk about oh so scary firelord. Is he really that tough? I tend to think he is slightly overrated.
Yeah great av and rce, but with 8 range and no defense reduction ability, he seems exposed. Nobody likes when you take an agent and tear up some high point fig. So why not take a veteran ninja w/bcf a hooker or five and slice him into a bunch of matches.

Anybody else out there shaking when you see a firelord or two on the table ? NOT ME!! Just bring it

Whatcha gunna do when ninjamania runs wild all over you!!!

True, but a rookie black panther 2 hookers and whatever else you want for range damage at ten is plenty. I play against firelord constantly and nothing is better then constantly using incap on him or mc on use him on his own teammates.
Point is there are many ways to skin a firelord

firelord is thwarted by a mandarin with a vulture taxi. keep the vulture between you then when time is right have him pick you up move nowhere and drop you on the otherside shoot him outwit rce then let him scramble.

mind control is hated by firelord players...hahahahah turn him against them consistently. base him with a lackey,thug,criminal.....so when hes out of mind control he can only target a useless fig...then mind control him again.....

Even the Rookie Mandarin costs more than a Vet Firelord. If a Firelord player positions properly and manages to taxi in and get one hit on mandarin, mandarin becomes useless. For the cost of say a mandarin exp plus his taxi, I can feasibly get an exp firelord, taxi, and another attacker + taxi.

Firelord is not invincible, there are many ways to neutralise him but he is simply one of the most cost effective figure in the entire game. that's why he gets so much heat.

I completely agree with Eternity. Firelord is no Dr. Doom, but he ain't 198 points either.
