Character Creation Rhino
Well I will do my last Character Creation this week. I decided to do Rhino. He just needs to be done. A couple things. His Move drops really really fast. He's not fast except for the initial attack. The attack is low he always seems to miss. Plus he is not as good as Thing in attack. HE never carries a object at the start. So I took off his first Kliq of Super Strength.

Thoughts on him tell me what you think.

Code:
Rhino Veteran Sinister Syndicate 0 Range 1 Bolt 112 Points

Speed 8 6 6 6 6 4 4 4

Attack 9 9 8 8 7 7 6 5

Defense 16 15 15 14 14 13 13 12

Damage 4 3 3 3 2 2 2 1
Charge Rhino is all about charging.

Super Strength He is in the 50 ton range.

Invulnerability His skin has been surgically grafted to his armour.

Toughness See above.

I like it. His AV isnt that low, 9 is just 1 below Captain America, and Rhinos AV doesnt drop too quickly either. Nice body armor and DVs, good Damage, and Lots of Charge. Well done, Id play him.

An AV of 9 means that he'll hit on average, 3/4 of the time.
He's actually pretty fast, I'd increase his starting movement to 10, then the next click can have 8.

He's actually pretty slow. Thats why I put his speed at 8 and drops really really fast. He cant usually keep up with Spidey, unless he's hurt.

112 points? Give me a Doc Samson, please.

Though, I will say this is accurate character and ability wise. But for that cost, I'd pick another bruiser.

Well, hopefully WK is making their characters based on who they are and what they can do, over making so-an-so for under X points. If this is what Rhino can do, and its a nice mod, then this is what he should be. Probably SS team ability is helping to bump his cost alittle.

Yeah but this has the Sinister Syndicate ability.

DTM, from what I am able to figure out. They usually do a mix of what it should be to what the set actually needs.

Well, while I do understand the need to put a mixture of low, mid and high level characters in each set, Id rather them actually PICK low, mid and high level characters as needed instead of making low level guys into Monsters, or high level characters a Joke.

Actually Manchine I think you gave this guy too much credit!!! yes he is a bruiser, yes he is a tough son of a gun...He has gone toe to toe with the Thing, Hulk, Hercules,Spiderman just to name a few...But I think he fits into the strong at the beginning and then drops drastically about half way or just before half of his dial...I think he Should start well let me just show you if I'm able:
8 8 6 6 6 5 5 4
9 9 8 7 7 6 5 5
15 15 14 14 13 13 12 12
4 3 3 3 3 2 2 2
I hope this came out right.... Oh one thing the red 9 is a mistake it should be nothing(or black) I definately agree with your idea on his first attack...I just think his values should drop dramatically as he goes deeper into his dial...like most villains he runs out of gas quickly...

this is of course for the veteran and everything else you put (Sinister Syndicate) is just perfect...

I think this is a perfect representation of the Rhino. I wouldn't change a thing.

Yeah, this is what I'd expect from Rhino...gives him some good options with that attack value if he's out there with a MoD (like Taskmaster or getting carried by Vet Annihilus) or with Bullesyes to get that attack up there for four clix. This is a good figure...not as playable as many but I'd give him a shot...gives the syndicate a much needed brick.
