Hey everyone! Here's the winner of the last voting round: Super Soldier!

But first, let me inform you about Thursday's Creation. As everyone knows, Thursday is the 2 year anniversary of the bombing of the World Trade Centers. Wednsday, there will be no voting as I have already figured out what I'll be posting as a tribute. So be on the lookout. I think you'll all like it.

On to the dial at hand!

In the Amalgam Universe, some of Marvel's and DC's characters where merged to form new and interesting character. Super Soldier is (if you can't tell) the merging of Superman and Captain America!

This figure does indeed incorperate the Amalgam ability that I created some threads back.

Very cool, though Id go for a starting 11 AV, since a 10 MAX isnt that special for Cap or Supes individually, let alone combined. The Damage is nice, though maybe one more click of 2 Damage with CCE before it drops to 1? Also not sure about Defend so late in his dial, with a 15 DV no one is really going to look for him for cover. Maybe some Toughness to take its place? Overall, very nice.

Oh, and Huge mounds of marshmellow fluff, that stuff will clog ANYTHING up.

Great idea, but (forgive my being a jack-### for a minute), it wasn't a bombing, because no bombs were involved. A tragedy none the less. Can't wait to see what you've got for us.

Finally, Super Soldier. I don't know how many times I voted for this guy. The AV is a touch low, like DTM said, but we say that about every character in HeroClix, don't we?

The only other thing I have a problem with is the Energy Shield/Deflection. I get that it represents the shield, but it just doesn't fit. I feel that Impervious would be a better representation; Super Soldier should be hard to hit, and hard to hurt. The way he is now, even a lowly Thug could roll high and inflict damage on him. But ES/D does make him different from most other bruisers.

DTM-This is an old dial, but if I was making it off the top of my head right now, I probably would have done that exactly as you've said.

ASpaceBoyDream-No worries. I used the word "bombing" as in "dive bombing". I probably should have been more clear on that.
SS's Defense was what I had the hardest part doing. I wanted Impervious up there (which I would probably put in there besides Invulnerability), but in every appearance I've seen him in (which is 99% of them ), he's used his Shield more than just taking the hit. The Defend being so far down on the dial is there for two reasons: 1) It had to be on the dial somewhere, and 2) I think SS would Defend a bystander (ie: generic figure) moreso than a superpowered hero (ie: named figure).

Great dial, I really liked the Leadership/SS combo, then the CCE after. The right amount of Charge and the Inv. after the E/SD was totally different and cool. Good job!
