VAS, need help with 1100 (yes,1100) Marvel only tourney...

My venue is having an 1100 Marvel tourney and I could use some suggestions. Each game has an hour time limit so we might get 4 or 5 turns only. Would you go for nothing but hard to kill heavy hitters or a lot of lesser point characters? I will probably go for a mix of high and mid point clix but I could use some ideas. Thanks.
