SoD Superman Strategy
How do you use him, if you do at all, in a 300 point battle?

SoD Superman 223
LE Atom 50
R Huntress 18
R EC Medic 9
= 300 even

Huntress and Atom act as his shield. Not the best I've come up with, but I think it could be effective.

Play him on an outdoor map and put him into soaring on turn one to force your opponents ranged guys to move closer to fire.

I like this setup:

SoD Superman
2x V-Parademon Warriors
2x R-Parademon Scouts

Let the Parademons tie up anyone that Superman isn't going after. Their incapacitate attacks can be useful to lock down opponents, too. Seems like a good theme army, too.

I like Keleko's army,but it'll get torn up by Nightwing or Batman with their rather painful combination of Leap/Climb and Outwit. To make him effective, I'd be tempted to couple him with a TK figure or Barrier Caster so that he can get a first strike.

If I were trying to play with SoD Superman, I would try to get him to Charge/Attack on every action that he takes. Unfortunately his DV is so low that Outwit makes him into a joke.

My team isn't really one that is going to support him all that well. It was more of a fun looking theme team. However, I tried it out on my own a few times, and it did better than I thought it would. If you use the Warriors to base the Nightwing or Batman, they won't be able to attack Superman. Yes, they can leap away, but that means they're not attacking that turn.

I tried that team on last weekend tournament. I did well. Poor parademons did nothing more than shield Superman. Though with the old rules, it was an effective team since I could carry Supes with the parademons. I really enjoyed playing the SoD Superman/Parademon team. Thanks for the idea Keleko!
