Probably a bit for for you, but:

Friday nights from about 7pm at Hidden Fortress on East Street in Southampton. - Friendly games almost every week with very little "cheese", mostly themed 200 - 300 point matches. A quid fifty for venue hire, refreshments available at reasonable rates. Sanctioned touraments every 2 - 3 weeks.

There is, for example, a cool event in Loughborough today featuring Galactus and his Heralds. If you'd subscribed to HeroClix-UK, you'd have got an email telling you about it - When Calls Galactus! As it is, you're too late. But there's somthing similar in Basildon tomorrow, I think...

The credit goes to the good judge, Doctor Arcanum (Jules). There's a fine document in the files area of the HeroClix-UK group which goes into even more detail. But you need to join the group to download that I think.

It goes to show that you don't need to travel to a US convention to have fun with Galactus. Just use your imagination ...
