Here's the latest surprise for me with the new rules:

I threw together a "fun" team last night, consisting of Darkseid, Despero, Amazo, and an R Easy Co Medic. I didn't have points for anything better!

I'm playing against an X-Men team consisting of R Prof X, Wolverine, Collossus, V White Queen, V Storm, Psyloke, and Beast.

I'm thinking that I am going to get slaughtered, on mobility alone (since I don't even have as many figures as I have actions).

The surprising thing is, I almost won. it came down to a wounded Amazo v White Queen, each of us having a hard time doing damage to one another.

If I hadn't had the bad luck of having both Despero and Darkseid knocked off a rooftop (one with critical damage) I probably would have won.

Anyway, that's my New Rules story of the week. Taxis aren't nearly as necessary as they used to be, although there were a couple of times when I truly wished I had one.
